From BeerAdvocate Magazine #90 (July 2014):
Roasty, Smooth, Cocoa, Thick
The subtlety of extreme beer, here we have a robust sweet stouts brewed with not only lactose and Cacao nibs but with Berger cookies. These are simple but tasty shortbread style cookies with a thick layer of chocolate on top, now think of these brewed in a stout and then pairing those cookied with the beer. A beautiful thing.

Sample at Industry Night at HomeBrewCon.
Rich vanilla and chocolate stout onslaught. I got an earful about these famous berger cookies. They must be pretty good if they are anything like this beer. Tasty.

Did you buy the milk stout? yeah you did. But it has COOKIES and it's from BALMER HON! Let's see what gives?
Boy this is real dark and has a very inky pour. Nearly black but just a hint of brown to it. Two finger barely tall for the head, very light tan and coffee brown. Manages a good thin puck and collar while settling.
Bit of lactose like souring going on, or possible mild acrid quality, but nothing horid. Milk and dark chocolate starts to dominate as it warms, a bit of chewy quality also. Fairly decent.
Palate brings a nice mild and milky texture. Fairly balanced with a soft roast and mild bitterness. Not particularly sweet but a hint of bakers like chocolate in the mid palate a bit. Finishes a little dry, much of the sourness hinted on the nose doesn't luckily come through on the palate. A bit of playful carbonation but the fizzy quality has some jarring to it.
Overall fairly decent and ok.

Poured on tap into a "pint" glass. Pours dark reddish black with an off-white head. Smells of dark roasted malt with sweet gingerbread. Tastes of chocolate with a nice cookie added to it, a nice winter combination. Beer is light bodied, a tad watery, but nicely carbonated. Overall a very good beer.
