Had this tasty stout on a 94 degree day and it was perfect. Refreshing in a way that a lot of stouts aren't, enough chocolate flavor but not overpowering. Very drinkable

Sample at Industry Night at HomeBrewCon.
Rich vanilla and chocolate stout onslaught. I got an earful about these famous berger cookies. They must be pretty good if they are anything like this beer. Tasty.

Berger cookies are great. What else do you need to say? This stout has the shortbread and fudge feel from the cookies. It stands alone as a stout, but adding a cookie feel just ups the ante.

A - Pours a smooth dark brown color; good resemblance to the berger cookie. 1 finger, coffee colored head that dissipates quickly and doesn't leave lacing.
S - As to be expected, a very sweet aroma is present with this beer. Pleasant and not too overwhelming aromas of chocolate, milk and sugar are present. Very enjoyable!
T - Unique and interesting yet good tasting beer. The flavor doesn't pop as much as the aromas do but still can pick up on notes of chocolate and sugar. Pleasant overall but wish the flavor was more defined.
M - Light bodied beer with a little too much carbonation for me/ the drink. Feels like I'm drinking a glass of milk. Very smooth.
O - A great beer overall from a local MD brewery. Greatly enjoyed the aroma though, again, wish the flavors were more defined.

From BeerAdvocate Magazine #90 (July 2014):
Roasty, Smooth, Cocoa, Thick
The subtlety of extreme beer, here we have a robust sweet stouts brewed with not only lactose and Cacao nibs but with Berger cookies. These are simple but tasty shortbread style cookies with a thick layer of chocolate on top, now think of these brewed in a stout and then pairing those cookied with the beer. A beautiful thing.

Chocolate, vanilla, Berger Cookies: What's not to like??? Only one problem - these things exist on the label only. Pours a jet black color: Head a bit weak. Decent thickness/creamy mouthfeel though with some lacing. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. Taste is dry, bitter: Basically a generic Guinness; definitely not sweet; definitely not milk stout. The Perfect Pour in Columbia more or less giving this stuff away as an overstock, which now makes sense. Nice idea: failed execution.
