I did not realize this was 8.4%, so that is well hidden. To summarize quickly, this is an amber ale with medium malt character and lots of vanilla, no cocoa to really note. I wish it had more body, but overall this is an acceptable beer, though an american blonde it is not

Pours a dark yellow golden color with off-white head. Cocoa, vanilla, sweetness, and booze on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with cocoa and vanilla sweetness.
