Located on Montana Ave, among other bars and restaurants. High open ceiling, brick walls, and a concrete floor. Windows at the street side. Long bar, and high tables against the outside wall. Community tables up front. Brewing equipment is viewable through windows. Twelve taps, with a good selection of styles, and style categorized on the menu. Two TVs above the bar and an elk head mount at the front. Food is available, with apps, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and a few other selections. Friendly, Western staff.

Uberbrew was the first brewery I visited after moving to Montana and it was a great choice! I visited in March 2020 and found the food and beer were delicious. They have a good selection of different beers to try. My favorites are White Noise, The Bruce, and the S'Morter Porter.

For the food, I ordered pretzel sticks with queso and a cheese burger with fries. After the great beer the food didn't disappoint either and the burger is one of my favorites that I've had in Billings.

I'm looking forward for my next visit to Uberbrew!

Top notch beer spot in Billings Montana. Always have a great diverse selection on tap to appeal to the casual drinker and the hardcore beer geek aficionado. Best IPA's in the state and the region. Always have the freshest beers on tap and always striving to be better.

(#6 of 49) This brewery is located on a main street on the downtown area, and parking is on-street. The setting is like a retail storefront arrangement with businesses on either side of it, but the interior has somewhat of an industrial or warehouse look. I like it. The brewing equipment is visible at the rear of the pub.

We chose to sit at the bar to try the beers and to order dinner. There are 12 taps here including one nitro, but we ordered a sampler flight of only 8 of them to evaluate the beers. Each was brewed to style, and all but one of them exceeded style very well. The only lackluster beer was the Grandmaster SMaSH Citra Session IPA which was better than average for the style (maybe because of the Citra hops which is my favorite variety). Overall we scored the beers at a B grade. he most notable was the 1632 Single Speed Saison, but all of the others were close behind in their rating.

The food here is just as excellent as the beers. We were passing through town and staying overnight here, and if we ever take a trip through this area again I'll be sure to visit this brewery again.

This is a really cool place. Industrial looking but still cozy. It big enough for a large crowd but works just fine to slide up to the bar by yourself. The sampler flight is awesome. $1 a beer for 5oz pours. Nice selection of really tasty beers. Unique styles, too.

Been in here twice (not within the last six months though), just realized I hadn't rated it yet. Good vibe, not too loud, but clearly popular at least around lunch time. Pub-like feel to it. Great food, decent selection of their own making.

The hip looking place in Billings. Did a sampler and beers were OK to very good but not great. Facility was nice, service good, and prices reasonable. Worth a stop and maybe a place to watch for in the future.

My wife and I visited while staying over night in Billings. Beers we tried three different beers, and all three tasted superb. We both ordered fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed that dish. The background tunes were all classic rock and played thbrough an excellent sounding sound system. But what really impressed us was the staff.

Our waitress was very friendly, prompt, and recommended a good beer for my wife who is not as adventurous as me. Her food summation about the cod fish and chips was spot on. Plus, the manager made two stops at our table to see how things were going (and this place seemed pretty packed and busy for an early Wednesday evening), and didn't mind chatting us up and even recommending a new brewpub opening in Bozeman (our ultimate destination over the next few days).

The total bill for three beers and two meals was an even $30.00. We feel that was quite the bargain!

such a great place. we really enjoyed uberbrew very much. loosely german themed, but so much more than that. long high ceilinged place with high top tables and a long bar running parallel with the space. cool minimalist modern decor, not german at all. maybe ten beers on, maybe twelve, covering all the basics with a few more interesting selections. a great hefe, a razzed up pale ale, and the white ipa were the most memorable for me. the food though, is what made uberbrew special. i have no idea how anything else on the menu tastes, but the meatloaf sandwich is the best i have ever had, hands down. huge slab of meatloaf, juice and tender, with caramelized onions done right, a charred doughy roll, and some sort of apple mustard onion jelly condiment that i cant explain, but the combination was exquisite. worth 20 bucks easily, and i paid just 9 i think. cheap and filling, fresh and home made, one of the best sandwiches ive ever eaten, and im already hungry for another. if all the food is that good, id be shocked, but just try the meatloaf, its perfect. service was above average but unremarkable. prices were really fair. hip spot with the brew house visible in the back. this spot will become a staple on my future billings trips.

edit: they changed the meatloaf sandwich, some kind of blue cheese coleslaw on it now or something, no more caramelized onions, terrible decision! that said, the wings are still on point in here, and the beer has only gotten better over the years. in a recent visit the black ipa blew my mind, but all the beers are so well refined here. definitely a must stop whenever i am in billings. bring back the old meatloaf sandwich though!

Visited this fairly new brewpub while on a trip to Billings. Located in an old storefront in the downtown area. The bartender indicated they opened sometime in 2012, so they are fairly new, joining a number of other local brewpubs/breweries in the city.

Interesting and cool look to the place. a mix of modern- with granite bar and table tops, and industrial - steel and exposed rafters, wood, and other building components, original skylight. Nice job with the space they had to work with. The bar with a dozen or so stools is joined by a good number of high top tables along the wall and some in the front of the pub as well. The brewing equipment is through some doors in the back.

They had 11 beers on tap, available as sampler flights, pints, or growlers to go. Good mix of styles to please most tastes. Some straight forward and then a few hybrid creations. All of the beers I sampled were of high quality. Bartenders were friendly and service was good.

It was indicated that most of the food is made from scratch - the nachos I ordered were fresh made chips and house made salsa - very tasty. Menu was appropriate for a brewpub - appetizers, soups, burgers, sausages, sandwiches.

Prices were pretty reasonable, especially with the happy hour discount on pints.
