On a 1-day, 4-stops pub crawl, this was the second stop. This is a storefront setting just two doors down from New Holland Brewing, which we had visited a few times in the past, but never took the time to come here.
We had heard many pros and cons about this pub's beers, so it was time to find out for ourselves. Well, it turns out that we had some pros and cons in our findings, but mostly pros. We ordered a sampler flight of 6 of the 10 beers that were available (two ciders were also on tap), and we ended up assigning scores from a C- to a B grade. The Greyskull sour was a bit weak on sour and flavor, so it was the low grade, and the Careless Whisperer IPA was the notable high grade. Overall the beers were scored at a C+ rating.
No food is served here, but free popcorn is available. Two wines were also listed on the board, but I don't know if they are made here. I liked the vibe of the place, and with only two TVs installed, it would seem that the pub is not trying to be a sports bar. We decided that we like the place, and it was busy here at 6 pm on a Wednesday, so others like it here too.

The service was awesome, selection was cool it was quite a variety from coconut porter to an Andes mint stout to barrel aged sour. They were well priced and fantastic service. I liked the atmosphere a lot more than new holland which felt like a large marketing scam. Our Beer must be doing well to beat out new holland right next door and I truly felt their beer was far superior to new hollands. Give it a try, it was a great brewery and I'll be back.

Coffee shop feel but with some incredible, small batch brews. Selection is sometimes hit or miss. My favorite brewery in Holland and with New Holland in town, that's saying something.

Great atmosphere, even greater people!!! What a gem and opening 2 doors down from New Holland seemed like a terrible idea, but when you catch their overflow and realize the beer at OBC is better, it makes perfect sense!!!! This is a can't miss brewery!!!!
