V: Spacious rooms, including a large bar with plenty of seating and a private room in back. Industrial decor.

Q: Great selection of beers and eats.

S: All staff are friendly and not overbearing.

S: Well-curated draft list and wide selection of food.

F: Quality burgers and sandwiches. Interesting appetizers.

Notes: I feel the prices on food and some of the beers could be a bit better.

What looks like a pretty straightforward steak house joint, manages to give a similar experience in the beer department as well.

Nicely laid out bar, with a good but not overly mind boggling tap list selection of well listed brews of different styles and locations. Very good service from the bartenders and staff, easily offering suggestions, refilling water, providing little extra grades of service as well.

Food is decent for lunch items and prepared fine, although only ate their once. A good beer stop for sure if wanting to dine.

Tries to be the Prime 16 in New Haven, but falls a bit short. It's really hard to beat New Haven's urban, youthful, and upbeat atmosphere. On the Post Road in Orange it can get lost in the mix, seems a bit generic even though it is anything but that.

Go for a cool burger and the best craft in town, but if you're looking for the full Prime 16 experience you need to go to New Haven.

Great food, nice list of beers! Halfway through dinner they put Oskar blues G'night Red Ale on tap. Bartender was awesome while we're waiting in helping my date find a beer she would enjoy

Prime 16 opened a little over a year ago replacing a number of failed restaurants and bars in this location. The beer selection is outstanding with 30 different beers on tap. The bar is well stocked with high end liquors. Bar service is friendly, prompt, and courteous. Food is okay as they pretty much serve burgers only. The restaurant was packed but wained at around 10 in the evening. I hope they're able to keep the lights on as the beer selection is one of the better ones in the area.

This Orange location has been open less than a year as of this review. Note that the bar service is fantastic, so the 3.25 for service represents the table service. That said, the wait-staff service & accuracy of the ever-changing 30 draft menu has been somewhat lacking: Accidental brewery/beer swaps on menu; questionable beer orders; long waits for orders at tables, etc. Hopefully these kinks will be ironed out soon because the selection is one of the best around.
