Cellared for 6 1/2 years. Pours jet black with a small amount of caramel colored head. No signs of oxidation with hints of Bourbon, coffee, and malt in the nose. Tasting brings a swirl of flavors. Bourbon and cacao are prevalent, with hints of coffee, vanilla, and caramel.

Proud of myself that I let this sit a bit, I think it's hitting its stride now. Undated bottle, but at least 10 months old I seem to recall.
ATTENTION BENT PADDLE: Too much wax! Holy man, took me a solid five minutes to crack this sucker.
Finally poured a near black with brown edges, decent initial head that fades to nothing. Some sediment in glass.
Delicious nose of bourbon, vanilla, cocoa.
Bourbon, blackberries, vanilla, cocoa, dark chocolate. Bit of an alcoholic bite towards the end but it works. Delicious.
Super smooth mouthfeel.
Basically indistinguishable from a big RIS. They nailed it with this one, a lovely beer.
