No canning date.

Appearance: Medium caramel with good clarity and a thin off white head of suds.

Aroma: Bread and some caramel.

Taste: Nice showcase of vienna malt. Bready with a touch of spice yet still some sweet caramel notes poking through in the malt bill. Hops really only provide balance and a light traditional bitterness. The finish is pleasantly dry and crisp. Good depth of flavor.

Mouthfeel: About medium in body with soft carbonation. Good drinkability.

Final Thoughts: Another enjoyable beer from a great brewery. They once again nail it by playing within style guidelines. Would I drink it again? Sure.

Serving glass: Poured from can into mug.

Appearance: Gold (?) with pretty good sized (for a lager) white head. Not the expected Vienna color.

Smell: Toast, apple, and peppery & floral hops.

Taste: Nice malt body of mostly toast and apple. Pretty strong hops for a Vienna, with pepper, floral and citrus notes. Fairly bitter.

Feel: Moderate carbonation with a medium body. Smooth, crisp and very dry.

Overall: This is a fantastic German lager, albeit one that is dry hopped. I would expect no less from the brewers of Venture Pils. Not exactly what I think of as a Vienna. To me, this is a mix of Vienna and Dortmunder with American-driven dry hopping. Whatever, it's great.

L: Pours brilliant gold to straw gold under a 1” rapidly dissipating lacy white foam collar.

S: Malty, a trace of DMS, spicy hops, light sugars.

T: A rich malty palate with some malt based tartness and a mild bitter finish.

F: Very creamy medium body with medium carbonation.

O: A creamy, full flavored lager.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a bright golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Big two finger white head with good retention. Lots of lacing.

Smell: A bready and fairly juicy malt forward aroma with a scent of grains, cracker, and subtle fruit. Bready malt hints of grains, cracker, toast, and yeast. Subtle hints of floral and citrus hops. Also some fruit hints of apple. A pretty decent lager smell.

Taste: Like it smells, a bready and somewhat juicy malt driven taste with notes of grains, cracker, and light fruit. Upfront bready malt notes of cracker, grains, toast, and yeast. Subtle floral hops and some light fruit notes of lemon and apple. A solid light lager taste.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp, clean, and very smooth.

Overall: A solid take on a Vienna Lager. Nice crisp malt flavor with some subtle fruit.

By know means a traditional Vienna lager as this is pretty aggressively dry-hopped. This is clean, crisp, wonderful tasting lager that is an excellent alternative to marzen type fall beers. Slight citrus aroma and flavor that compliments the well crafted lager.

Lighter in color, slightly malty, slightly floral. As it warmed you get a bit of the hop bitterness which left a dry aftertaste and detracted from the experience. It's not bad but I'll probably won't buy it again

A: A light golden blonde with a white head Gold (?) with pretty good sized (for a lager) white head. Not the expected Vienna co

S: It's difficult to smell the character of this beer. I get bready and toasty malt but it's faint.

T: A mellow balance of blonde malts provide a pleasant taste experience. Some citrus and floral notes and a bit of bitterness.

F: Medium carbonation, smooth and a clean finish

Overall: I lighter thinner lager than I would have expected. But it's a smooth tasting summer beer.

12 oz Can. Pours a slight hazed dark yellow color with a fresh staying head and a small amount of lacing. Smells of malt and citrus with herbal dankness . taste was a sweet honey and hop citrus start with bready caramel malts notes of tofee/caramel a nice balance. Sweet and creamy mouth feel slight citrus and a touch of bitterness. Bent Paddle makes quality drinkable brews and this one is no exception.

Hazy amber color, with a moderately large foamy head. Appearance is quite calm for a lager, with little visible carbonation.

Taste is full of malts, which notes of pine and citrus. A very full flavor for a lager. Mouthfeel is light, with low carbonation.

Not quite as drinkable as the impeccable Venture Pils. Yet, another fantastic brew from Bent Paddle.

On tap at the brewery.
White head. Clear golden copper color.

Bready and biscuit malts with a bit of caramel. Earthy hops and bitterness. Medium bodied. Smooth. Well done.

Americanized overhopped version of a Vienna.

Aroma is citrus laden with herbal/floral notes as well.

Flavor begins with a lot of citrus, orange marmalade, vienna malt really strains to emerge. Just some light toasty notes. Very light. Finishes with a decent amount of hop dryness. Good hop burps as well.

Too heavy handed on the hops. Drinks like an IPL rather than a Vienna. It's not a terrible beer but not what I was hoping in a beer promoted as a Vienna Style Lager.

Roof rack pours a hazy amber color with a small lacing head. Sweet crisp malty aroma. Taste is a little earthy with a malty backbone. A little flat. A decent malty and earthy beer.
