look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

Appearance: Poured light golden-orange with a ting of haziness. One inch of white head that shrank to a nice sprinkled on layer that stayed until the end. Visible carbonation. Lacing excellent.

Smell: Upfront is the American hop flavors; dank citrus-grapefruit with piney notes. The aroma is not as in your face as I've come to expect out of an American IPA. Grassiness a little bit. Some malt comes through in the form of biscuit, maybe a little caramel.

Taste: The hop flavor returns with a vengeance. The resinous and dankness is more available with the grapefruit citrus and pine. Small amount of biscuit malt character past the hops. Finishes dry with a coarser bitterness that lingers for a short time.

Mouthfeel: Light body with moderate to high carbonation. A little prickly on the tongue toward the end. Finishes dry as well.

Overall: A great beer that is easy to drink a lot of. Nice American IPA in my opinion. I would suggest this to others.

Pours a clear amber with a chill haze and a creamy white head that leaves lots of lace.
Aroma is juicy fruit, mainly orange with pine, floral and tropical fruit notes. Outstanding.
Taste is citrus and pine with a nice rindy, bitter finish. Just a hint of onion. Good balance.
Mouthfeel is medium.
Excellent, smooth IPA

Serving glass: Poured from can into glass.

Appearance: Clear gold with stark, fluffy white head and nice lacing.

Smell: Citrusy, quite sweet, with some toasted notes.

Taste: Toasted malt backbone with juicy hops. Mostly orange, on the tangerine end of the spectrum, and lemon. A titch of pine and spicy notes on the finish, but not too much bitterness. A lingering citrus aftertaste.

Feel: Medium body that is lightly creamy with moderate carbonation. Finish appears to be dry at first, but then a lingering sweetness creeps in and lasts. This hampers what is otherwise a crisp and refreshing beer.

Overall: A nice drinkable and juicy IPA. A little different than other local offerings, but the lingering mouthfeel lowers the appeal for me a little.

I do wonder if this holds up better than other IPAs if I were to drink it straight out of the can. I think it may as Bent Paddle is marketing this as a campsite beer. This certainly would be a nice beer to have at a campsite, although I may reach for an Indeed Day Tripper instead.

On nitro. Nitro Gives it a creamy character on top of a earthy, piney hop aroma and taste. A bit of crackerlike malt with a bit of sweetness. Nice beer. Easy drinking ipa.

Had on tap at the Pig & Fiddle. L: Pours brilliant burnished gold under a ¼” clingy white foam cap.
S: Some grass and light grains with traces of citrus and a hint of dank.
T: Light malts, biscuit, a hop bitter accent, come earthiness and some citrus rind.
F: Creamy, medium body and carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: A refreshing, flavorful IPA.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a tall pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a crisp looking golden orange with a moderate amount of rising bubbles. Huge four finger white head with decent retention. Leaves a lot of clingy lacing around the glass.

Smell: A bright and juicy hop forward aroma with good hints of citrus esters, earthy hops, and backing malt. Upfront citrus hops with hints of orange peel, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, tangerine, lemon zest, melons, and apricot. Earthy and herbal hop presence with hints of dank pine resin and grass. Fairly floral. Backing of pale malt with hints of grains, biscuit, straw, caramel, and cracker. A very solid IPA aroma.

Taste: Like the smell hints at, a nicely zesty and hop forward IPA taste with good notes of citrus, pine, grass, and backing malt. Upfront presence of citrus hops with notes of orange peel, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, lemon zest, melon, tangerine, and apricot. Earthy, floral, and herbal hops as well with notes of grass and weed like pine resin. Backing presence of pale malt with notes of grains, straw, biscuit, caramel, cracker, and yeast. A very good balanced IPA taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, slightly oily, and pretty smooth. Drying finish.

Overall: A very good IPA from this new brewery. Good balance of hop esters.

On cask with a "citra bump". Holy damn this beer is incredible on cask. Go. Go and seek it, I say!

Very nice summer IPA. Well balanced and smooth with just a bump of hops. Well done!

Small off white head slowly settled into a nice lacing above a clear rich bright honey golden colored beer.

Rich last citrus and light pine aroma.

A lighter citrus taste then in the aroma with more distinct fruits (like tangerines) coming through, the taste also has the grassness to it.

A dryish after taste with some of the hops dryness remaining on this medium bodied beer.

This is a pretty tasty IPA and this beer can compete with the West Coast style on their court.
