Received from Tavour yesterday. Purchased 4 cans but after cracking open the first one, kicked myself fir not buying more.

L-Lemony yellow. Looks like the outside color of the can actually.

S-Grapefruit, citrus, orange and hint of mango. I could smell this all day. Excellent job here.

T-Wow. Blown away by this DIPA. Sweet citrus up front and center followed by the bitter citrus hit that lingers well on the back pallette. It's a horrible cycle that makes you want to keep drinking it. Goes down fasssst.

F-Super smooth on the pallette. Really enjoyed that. Carbonation is there but the balance is just great.

O-Seek this out and buy a good amount when you find it!

On tap at the brewery the other day.

The beer pours an amber orange color with pretty decent head retention and lacing. On the nose, I really didn't pick up all that much. There was some noticeable tropical fruit and light citrus, but the beer smelled a bit boozy as well, which surprised me a bit. It was OK, but I wasn't hugely impressed by what I smell. On the palate, my initial impression was that the beer has some good hoppy bitterness, as you would expect. However, the sweetness from the malt really comes on strong in the mid palate, and the alcohol on the finish was hot and off putting. There were still some interesting flavors in this beer, but I was surprised by the level of sweetness and heat from alcohol I picked up. Mouthfeel was medium bodied I guess, but it was hard not to be distracted by the heat on the finish. There was some decent bitterness as well, but again, the harsh heat from the alcohol on the finish was off putting.

Mehhh... while not awful, given the brewery, I found this beer to be a disappointment. There are many excellent DIPA's in the NW, and IMHO, this is definitely not one of them.

Poured from draft. Dark orange and clear with a thin white head, minor legs. A lot of hops in the aroma, good pine scent. Taste had a lot of alcohol in it with a hard bitter finish for the first taste, but smoothed out afterwards. Very hoppy flavor, more pine than anything else. Thinner texture than expected. Decent imperial ipa, negative is was more bitter than expected.

Pleasantly bitter though not quite as strong as most Doubles. Citrus forward like it's Topcutter cousin, malt and a little sweetness on the palate. Very drinkable for a Double IPA and highly recommended.

Warm copper color, minimal head

Biscuit, grapefruit zest, some citrus notes

Yeasty, a bit sweet, some citrus. Robust malt

Slightly syrupy, low carbonation.

This one falls short for me.

Poured from a 12oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a hazy Golden with a full white head.

Aroma is an herbal bitter with a lemon orange citrus.

Taste matches aroma. Herbal grassy aroma giving way to citrus.

Poured from tap into tulip at taphouse grill, Seattle.

Look: very cloudy, head disipated quickly, poor.

Smell: great citrus initially, but faded fast.

Taste: overly bitter, smack you in the face bitter, with hint of orange/citrus lingering.

Feel: average.

Overall, disappointed.
