Don’t be fooled by the powerful hop aroma of Field 41 Pale Ale. Heavily dry-hopped with Simcoe® and Cascade, this perfectly sessionable Pale Ale drinks easy with a smooth bitterness and is named for the hop field that is home to Bale Breaker Brewing Company. Light and refreshing, it’s the perfect beer for a day on the river or afternoon on the slopes.

Wow....great pale with a bunch of fresh hops...profile reminds me somewhat of a junior Heady...with a great bunch of flavor rolled into a low abv pale. Awesome beer...thanks Josh!

12oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear golden pour with a thin, sturdy white head. Grainy aroma with citrusy accents, orange. Taste is sweet, grainy, malty with light citrus zest at the finish. Not as hoppy as I would have guessed.

draught
Moderate and creamy, alabaster head. Clear, medium gold appearance. Half medium toast, caramelized malt and grapefruit peel, with a touch of a floral perfume, for the aroma. Medium light levels of grapefruit peel, medium toast malt, with a little bit of a brisk citrus peel bite that fades before the grapefruit peel and malt background finish.

This is a wonderful pale. Pours gold with tan/white dense head and a nice citrus, bread nose. The taste is slightly bitter grapefruit and bread, light malt and a thicker mouth feel than most pales. Very nice

Picked up as part of a mixed 12 pack from The Market at Birch Bay for $21.99. Appears to be canned in March; consumed 6.5.21.

Beer poured gold with an okay white head.

Nose was herbal and citrus hop forward, nice, but noting awesome.

Taste was really well balanced with a light pale malt base and citrus hops providing a nice flavor profile. 5/10 on my bitterness scale.

Mouthfeel is light and very refreshing.

Overall a perfect "porch pounder" with flavor! So sessionable!

Canned 2/21; 12oz to nonic. Clear pale gold with a fluffy white head; solidly hoppy nose leads with grapefruit and pine, mild citrus, floral; malty undertones, faint caramel, smooth and light body, mild bitterness. Faintly herbal. Refreshing.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a tulip glass.

Look- Medium gold, clear with visible particulate sediment, lower than average head retention, average lacing.

Smell- Resinous pine, herbal, slight citrus.

Taste- Citrus, piney, slightly weak flavor.

Feel- Thin body, crisp, medium bitterness, average carbonation, clean/dry finish.

12oz can served in a nonic glass. No can dating.

Look- Clear golden straw color. Solid off-white head that recedes rather slowly to a thin cap of foam with modest lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.

Smell- Citrus (grapefruit, pithy orange rind and lemon/lime), dank/grassy hops, resinous pine, caramel/bready malt, light tropical/stone fruit notes.

Taste- Pithy citrus, a hint of tropical fruits (pineapple and mango), pine needles and grassy/herbal/floral hops. Decent malty backbone, well balanced.

Feel- Medium/light bodied, semi-dry and fairly crisp, light bitter finish. Medium/light carbonation on the tongue.

O- A nice enough old school west coast style pale ale. Nothing over the top but very crushable.
