Just didn't like the hop profile in this stout. Just seemed unbalanced. Way too hoppy and it overwhelmed what smelled like a decent chocolate quality.

Can poured into this awesome Sexual Chocolate glass.

A- Pours pitch black with a one finger coco powder head. Holds well, looks good.

S- Faint nose. Hops, roasted malt, dark fruit and some smoke.

T- Bitter hops, roasted coffee, malt, and again a little smoke.

M- Active carbonation, smooth, a little thin, alcohol is hidden well.

O- Not a bad stout. A little thin and I would say it is on the boundary of a hoppy black ale. I usually like my stouts to be a little more rich.

Poured into a nonic pint glass. One inch had that falls to thin film and leaves good lacing. Aroma is roasted barley and citrusy hops. Flavor is typical rush of roasted malts and coffee flavors with a balancing bitterness. Overall, it is a good call if you like the style.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a black, oil spill color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of roasted malts, light chocolate. Taste is coffee, roasted malts, mild hints of chocolate, alcohol is well hidden. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Strong chocolate / roasted coffee flavor. Very dry with intense hop aftertaste. I like having it with some strong aged cheese or with chocolate based desserts
