can dated 2/19/21; today is 3/18/21
pours a super hazy rustic amber-tinged orange body with a billowing white foam head that has low retention but leaves a fairly high amount of thin sticky sudsy lacing behind as it settles to a thin halo
aroma is dank yet mellowed citrus orange with a muddled grassy hop bitterness and a light caramel malt backer
taste is full-blown orange with shades of grassy-near-herbal hop with suggestions of pine melding with earthy grapefruit and caramel.
mouthfeel: moderately high carbonation and medium body that runs smoothly with occasional mild carbo prickles and finishes nice and dry with a grapefruit spiked hop earthy bitterness
overall:
a delicious orangey affair that carries in a mellow, easy vibe that balances caramel sweetness, orange funk, and a grapefruit tinged earthy hop and grassy hop one-two. if the words "orange" and "hops" interest or excite you, don't miss this one.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy orange juice color with a one finger head of off-white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of a sweet orange juice smell mixed with other aromas of a herbal and pine nature. Along with these smells comes some light smells of grapefruit and a little bit of a bready smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a bitter grapefruit hop mixed with a decent showing of tangerine and orange sweetness. Along with these tastes comes a little bit of herbal hop and a touch of pine. As the taste advances the later hop tastes grow stronger as the grapefruit gets weaker. At the same time the sweetness remains rather strong, with a bit of a breadiness joining into the taste as well. At the end, a touch of stone fruit flavor joins the taste, and with the change in the hop, one is left with a citrus-fruity and more dankly hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The brew is rather thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is rather low. For the pulpy OJ like flavor, mixed with the dank herbal hop, the feel is pretty good and makes for a rather flavorful sipper overall.
Overall – A rather thick and chewy IPA overall with a nice easy drinking style.

Had Everything Rhymes with Orange poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "06/12/2020," and "NICE," gift from friend, into tulip pint.
Pours classically NE hazy and gold, with 1-finger off-white head, which sticks around well enough to pull some decent Belgian lace down the glass. The aroma, not as big as expected, is orange but not gimmicky, as it is balanced by hop resin. Drinking is a very similar experience, with the added support of mild caramel malt, before a hop resin-fueled dry finish.

12 oz can, no date, into Ploughshare glass.
Purchased from Lukas' in KCKS.
Pours a really murky dark blonde color with a tall creamy cap of 2 fingers, leaving lots of lace as it recedes to 1 finger.
Aroma is only medium volume and brings fresh citra hop pellets, some bright citrus notes such as orange and mango, slight grapefruit, and dusty malt. Takes some effort to smell.
Flavor brings very juicy orange and orange peel, with accompanying notes of apricot and slight sweaty mango. The first thing I notice is how subdued and soft this beer is. It's unabashed in its acidic intensity, but the smoothness is immediately noticeable. Lingering finishing notes of orange peel and grapefruit peel. As you may perceive, complexity is not in its repertoire, it is very linear. But if you like oranges/grapefruits, this flavor profile will please you.
Feel is soft, smooth, fiercely acidic, with lingering bite and slight resins. Moderate to mild alcohol presence.
Overall, it has a "great plains" hazy vibe to it that seems to be a common stumbling block for our area that keeps it from soaring into the stratosphere. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's like the true NE style IPAs of lore, but it is enjoyable, and if you approach it as a soft hazy orange-peel-forward IPA, you will have your expectations met. Price considered, there are some better choices out there.

On tap at a local restaurant:
Pours a hazy dark but vibrant orange. One finger white head that diminishes quickly but retains a little bit. Laces well.
This beer smells like orange juice, but not in a bad way. It’s actually quite enjoyable. Aroma is not very powerful, but citrus is obvious and hops are present.
This beer tastes like someone crossed orange juice and vodka based cocktails with citrusy IPAs. Simple primarily orange citrus and hops, but a surprisingly low bitterness. Easily sessionable I believe.
Feel: just as advertised. Soft body and a dry finish. Refreshing and easy on the stomach compared to most IPAs I have tasted.
Overall: highly recommend, especially if you like IPAs. If you don’t like IPAs, this one might change your mind. First beer from Roughtail I have tried, and after this I will definitely be trying more.

From a 12-day-old can, pours a very hazy glowing orange. Big head leaves thick lacing. Smells like fresh oranges and a touch of earthy dank. Taste follows. Great hazy IPA, very happy to enjoy so fresh in Tulsa.

Hazy pour. Nose of fresh orange/ zest.
Taste is orange with some fresh green melon and stone fruit hints. Mild citrus/ pine bite in the finish.
Mouth feels slick and medium.
I’d get this IPA anytime, eg summertime.

This is my new FAVORITE! It’s like a mimosa but with an IPA. I’ve had it out at a couple different bars. Haven’t found any in stores yet. Definitely looking. It’s a local craft beer as it is from my state but even if it wasn’t, this beer is amazeballs.
It has a good feel, it smells all citrusy which is NOICE! The taste is great. It’s really bright and has a good finish. Orange and piney. It really is a good combination.

A - Hazy orange gravy with a 2-finger white head and good lace.
S - Grassy/herbal and dank. Touch of orange.
T - Much like the aroma but with more orange flesh and pith. There's some welcome bread backbone. Light touch of pine. Mild bitterness.
M - Medium body and light carbonation. Soft going down but finishes fairly drive.
O - A-better-than-many NEIPA. Well fermented. I enjoyed it.
