Pours a slightly foggy orange with a finger of white foam. Aroma is light citrus with bony notes of biscuit, bread, and nutty malts. Its aroma is driven more so by the malts than hops. Flavor profile is orange and tangerine with thick notes of biscuit and bread malts. Malts are the backbone and performers in this beer, hops are the light show. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a slippery smoothness thanks to very little grain or fizziness in the texture. Overall, a fair IPA for those seeking a big malty presence. Otherwise, it's alright.

Deep color that is almost like chicken broth. Nose is thick of the hops. The taste was a bit of a let down as it has a bready finish. I had hopes of a very hoppy flavor, but still is a good drinkable beer.

I adored Roughtail's Everything Rhymes With Orange, so I had to give this a go. Runs $10.99 USD per sixer in the Austin, TX market.
"IPA." Canned 03/19/18. No hop varietals are mentioned on the label.
Very even-keeled, but the hop profile is a bit underwhelming. Hits on pretty basic citrus notes, evoking candied orange, mango, tangerine, and orange. Pale malts keep it balanced. Hop pungency is lacking for an IPA; this drinks more like a pale ale.
Alcohol is well hidden. Has a nice softness to its mouthfeel, which is a highlight. Smooth, wet, and well-carbonated.
Extremely drinkable, though that's owed in part to its lack of hop pungency and concomitant bitterness. Lacks the assertive hop profile one would look for in a great expression of an IPA. Still, it's very enjoyable fare from Roughtail, and while not quite anywhere near the level of Everything Rhymes With Orange, I'm glad I picked it up and I'll enjoy working my way through the sixer.

Good session beer. A little on the carbonated side but as Lawrence Welj would say, “tiny bubbles”.

16oz canned on 10-3-17
Appealing, clear, clean copper/gold with a 1" white head. Good retention and nice lacing.
Weedy and tropical nose, some pine. Caramel malts apparent. Candy.
Nicely balanced IPA, earthy hops rule but not out of control. Lemon oil.
Medium body, clean mouthfeel. Decent length in the bitter finish.
Very nice, more of a traditional IPA.
Clean, balanced, and flavorful.
