On tap at Wes Welker's Sports Bar & Grill, poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - very cloudy orange, thin white head; lots of lacing.
Smell - more malts here. Sweet candy and caramel.
Taste - follows the nose, but finishes off with more hops.
Feel - good balanced IPA. Reminds of Deschutes Inversion.
Overall - good beer, but more emphasis on the malts.

Drank from a can. Decent carbonation and head that stuck around in the can. Nose of grapefruit and citrus hops with some semblance of malt, but it wasn't overwhelming or bitter. Taste follows nose with west coast IPA notes of grapefruit and citrus with some pine on the back end. Medium-light body and carbonation with no metallic aftertastes, indicating a decent can was used in canning.
It was better than the first time I had it 3 years ago. Good summer beer that isn't too heavy or complex - straight forward hops that don't make the beer overly bitter. Drinkable and just a little bitter.

Pours to a generous white bubbly head and good lacing. Copper color and some floaters. Aroma is piney, citrusy PNW hops and pale malt. Flavor is a muted American IPA flavor with some malt backbone and balance. Not what most people think of as a good AIPA, but I really like it.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of pine, some fruits. Taste is piney, tropical fruits, light resin, medium bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a refreshing and enjoyable beer.
