Improved since I first had this a couple years ago. Just dialed in a bit as the brewery has honed their process I suppose. Looks the part of a good American IPA. Slightly hazed orange body with a tight, sticky foam top. Aroma doesn't pop, just hangs heavy at the rim of the glass. Flavor is a heavy-handed punch of hops. Old school American - bitter, herbal, citrus pith, leafy. It has that oily full mouthfeel you only get from throwing loads of hops in the beer. Not the bright, vibrant, juicy variety of newer IPA. Instead it hits you in the mouth with a raw brash bitterness. I like it as a good local option, but there are plenty I would put ahead of it.

On tap. Well carbonated golden-orange color with a tan head that leaves a small ring of lacing. Smells like pine and hops. Upfront tastes of piney malts with noticeable but not overwhelming hops throughout. It isn't too bitter and no alcohol taste. The malt is strong enough that this isn't a hop bomb. Medium and slightly creamy body with medium carbonation.
This is a fine IPA that is slightly boring. It isn't especially good, but there's nothing particularly wrong with it.

Pours to a generous white bubbly head and good lacing. Copper color and some floaters. Aroma is piney, citrusy PNW hops and pale malt. Flavor is a muted American IPA flavor with some malt backbone and balance. Not what most people think of as a good AIPA, but I really like it.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of pine, some fruits. Taste is piney, tropical fruits, light resin, medium bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a refreshing and enjoyable beer.
