Got in a 12 pack variety of cans. It's really a shame it's the only way to get it in cans, and apparently the only way to get 22oz bottles is at the brewery. Pours a clear light golden color with a white head with big bubbles. Doesn't leave much lacing. Nose is out of this world. Immediately reminded of Enjoy By. Loads of mango, guava, pineapple, and citrus. A little alcohol in the nose as well but almost undetectable. Taste follows the nose. Huge tropical fruit. Citrus on the back end. Some malty sweetness but otherwise a ridiculously well balanced and well crafted beer. Bitterness is spot on. If you're looking for something to destroy your palate look elsewhere. This stuff lets the aroma and flavor of the hops shine through excellently. As for mouthfeel you really can't ask for much more out of a DIPA. It's not too thick, carbonation is nice, and just drinks very well overall. Once this stuff gets noticed it's Top 250 bound. 88 for this is a travesty. Next time you see a Saint Archer 12 pack just get it. The IPA is tasty as well.

for a DIPA, it pours beautifully. bright yellow with early carbonation and bubbles swirling to meet the white foaminess above it.
smell is a true hoppy bitterness and the taste is definitely the same. very bitter. slightly floral, mostly citric with some grapefruit zest and grapefruit oils. sticky whiteness on the sides of the glass, looks like meringue.
overall, it's okay. very good. very distinct flavors. very bitter. 2nd pour produces a huge fluffy head.

Bottled 750ml. No dating - get on it, Archer!
Orange color, fluffy head. Mostly sour and sweet citrus fruit (more orange than grapefruit), with some tropical notes, and a buttered biscuit undernote. Taste is mildly malty, with a lingering moderate bitterness. Body medium on the lighter side. Definitely a Socal IPA, with more fruit than earth. It is highly drinkable because of the simple pale malt bill, like Sculpin or Pliny. It is very good, close to greatness. If only I knew how fresh the bottle was, so I could take that into account. What are we, in the Middle Ages?

Although not bottle dated, this just arrived at my local Whole Foods and I'm assured very fresh. Taste& feel confirms!

Everything about this beer is damn good. Lemon zest, and tropical fruit from the Citra hops show up just enough without making this a fruit juice bomb. The malt lends a bubble gum flavor which is surprising and appreciated. Tropical Fruit / Bubblegum & Pine West coast DIPA.

This beer is dry, crisp and clean. For those of you who have yet to try this very nice specimen of a DIPA, I felt this beer reminded me of a much more clean & refined, more citrussy version of SN Torpedo.

I'd 100% purchse this again when assured fresh.

Handsome golden amber color in the Saxo tulip. Really a nice foam on pouring, and a cap lasts nicely as you sip. Plenty sparkly in the mouth. Aroma is grapefruit and maybe a touch of pine.

Finishes with the grapefruit rind. Quite bitter but still drinkable. Some resiny flavor and a browned biscuity taste. Chinook, Simcoe, and Citra are the hops listed. Slightly oily, medium body. Starts with some malty sweetness but it's more of a sharp and tangy brew. Just a hint of mango and pineapple as it warms. Sudsy mouthfeel is nice but I'm salivating from the bitterness.

It's a big IPA with a big hot taste. From the 22oz bottle purchased at Whole Foods in Encinitas.

Honestly this is the perfect DIPA in my opinion. I don't review beers often but as a home brewer with over 100 brews under my belt and having sampled all the great beers of this style, I prefer this to pliny or any of the best out there. Got it fresh and refrigerated at whole foods. This needs to be rated much higher. Cheers Saint Archer!
