A: Hazy pale/orange color. Nice head, slight retention. Color is perfect for the hop forward intention.

S: Lots of tropical fruit, grapefruit, pine, sweet earth. Citra is apparent as is simcoe. Smells like awesome.

T: Tropical fruit, citrus and sweet breads. A lot more fruit than pine. More Hawaii than Lake Tahoe.

M: Medium body/carbonation.

O: Very similar to Enjoy By. If you get this fresh its an incredible IIPA.

Got in a 12 pack variety of cans. It's really a shame it's the only way to get it in cans, and apparently the only way to get 22oz bottles is at the brewery. Pours a clear light golden color with a white head with big bubbles. Doesn't leave much lacing. Nose is out of this world. Immediately reminded of Enjoy By. Loads of mango, guava, pineapple, and citrus. A little alcohol in the nose as well but almost undetectable. Taste follows the nose. Huge tropical fruit. Citrus on the back end. Some malty sweetness but otherwise a ridiculously well balanced and well crafted beer. Bitterness is spot on. If you're looking for something to destroy your palate look elsewhere. This stuff lets the aroma and flavor of the hops shine through excellently. As for mouthfeel you really can't ask for much more out of a DIPA. It's not too thick, carbonation is nice, and just drinks very well overall. Once this stuff gets noticed it's Top 250 bound. 88 for this is a travesty. Next time you see a Saint Archer 12 pack just get it. The IPA is tasty as well.

Although not bottle dated, this just arrived at my local Whole Foods and I'm assured very fresh. Taste& feel confirms!

Everything about this beer is damn good. Lemon zest, and tropical fruit from the Citra hops show up just enough without making this a fruit juice bomb. The malt lends a bubble gum flavor which is surprising and appreciated. Tropical Fruit / Bubblegum & Pine West coast DIPA.

This beer is dry, crisp and clean. For those of you who have yet to try this very nice specimen of a DIPA, I felt this beer reminded me of a much more clean & refined, more citrussy version of SN Torpedo.

I'd 100% purchse this again when assured fresh.

Criminally underrated DIPA, this thing burts with a pungent hop nose and equally robust palate. It's savory, with bits of pine and tropical fruit thrown in. I'll say it 'till I'm blue in the face -- Saint Archer's pale ale/IPA/DIPA lineup is as strong as anyone not just in the state but in the country.

Poured into a tulip

A- pours a clear golden-orange color with a small creamy white head that eventually settles, leaving some nice lacing behind

S- strong whiff of fruity hop aroma, with an emphasis on citrus rind, pineapple, mango & papaya. Sweet bread & earthy malt, with a hint of toasty aroma

T- citrus fruit dominates up front with a big emphasis on pineapple and mango, grapefruit and and danky hop follows in the mid-palate, malty fresh bread and some earthy notes, the finish gives some grassy notes with a nice dandy linger

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouth feel and a smooth creamy finish

O- big citrus notes with some nice bready notes to back it up, classic west coast DIPA style
