Too bad that it's called a brown ale, because that makes it sound so boring.
This is an extraordinary ale. I have been an IPA guy for years, but this beer has reawakened my taste buds.

Very dark copper, small head. Smells brown: lightly nutty, some earthen nodes, mild dry hops.

Tastes like it smells only with some firm oat roughness. Oats and nuts and peat nodes balance one another well and makes for a medium complex, interesting session ale.

Deep brown with ruby at the edges thin khaki head. Rich caramel with a hint of chocolate. Pretty tasty brown ale.

On draft during a trip to Columbus, in a shaker pint.

Dark brown in color, off-white head. Mild malty aroma. Bready , nutty flavor, good balanced taste. medium bodied
