Mosaic and a cast of supporting hops give this DIPA layers of tropical fruit and citrus with a bracing pine bitterness in the finish. Light English crystal malts add honeyed sweetness and a rich golden color.

Can dated 1-19-23. GLBC tulip.
A: pours a brassy copper-gold with one finger of white head that recedes quickly. Not much retention or lacing on this one.
S: as soon as I open the can, I get wafts of sweet malt and stewed ripe peaches and dried apricots. A little fresh pineapple, too, but dominated by dried apricots.
T: arrives off-dry, rich, a touch sweet, that peachy-apricot taste, followed by a touch of alcohol. Finish is lingering herbal hop bitterness and alcohol, a touch too sweet on the finish for my taste.
M: lighter side of full-bodied. Frothy, with a little lingering slickness.
O: I can smell this is an outstanding DIPA. Indeed, my first sip hit the spot. But each sip since has been too much alcohol, and too much sweetness. Perhaps I’m getting too old, or perhaps it’s an old can, but I am not enjoying this right now.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This exceptional DIPA pours a chill hazed golden with
a fantastic head of white foam that lingers long and fades to a thick layer and shows
excellent lacing. Nose of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and pin doused in honey malts.
Flavors hit the note with honey sweet malt, grapefruit, touch of pith, mango, pineapple,
and sticky dank pine. Mouth feel is medium, smooth, medium light carbonation, and a
bitter hop yet balanced malt backbone that is lightly dry.
Overall----excellent!
Cheers

Rather than increasing the taste I think they hire a BV kind of decrease the flavor of this beer. Not a super amount of happy flavors as I would’ve expected.

Found this at a Strongsville Walmart, poured the classic golden amber west coast color with a good 3/4 inch of foam. Good bitter grapefruit and pine. This is a super drinkable double I feel like its not as popular out here but still very good I'd definitely have this again. Finishes super clean

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of resinous pine, orange, pineapple and toasted caramel. Sweet citrus taste with caramel, toffee and a sharp bitterness.

Medium orange/amber look. Quite restrained aromas of sweet spiced, medium roasted malt, with a bit of an orange note. A bit of sharpness, then an off-dry, medium heavy toast malt, comes in and a spiced, mixed citrus peel flavor, rolls in. Finishes with mainly, the citrus peel bite.

Outstanding..... average appearance leads to a surprisingly robust nose and a terrific taste.... Hint of citrus, a bit dank which I really like an overall a really really big thumbs up

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass canned on 3/22/21. Pours a clear amber orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves plenty of thin lace with excellent retention. 4.25
Aroma pine, mango, biscuity grain, apricot, and grapefruit. 4
Taste follows pine, mango, biscuit, apricot, and grapefruit a little bitterness, but rather tropical also. 4
Mouthfeel is medium, plenty of life, maybe a little dry, and at 8.2% ABV it drinks rather easy. 4.25
Overall this is not East or West coast, kind of a very clear hybrid of the two. Nice stuff, thanks jzeilinger for the can. 4

Canned on 03-20-21.
A - Medium orange gold color with perfect clarity and carbonation. Foam on top is bright white, creamy, dense, and sticky on the sides of the glass.
S - A small bit of oat grain aroma with some citrus over the top.
T - Tropical fruit, some sweet malt blended in, moderate pine bitterness, and a slight bit of peppery spice on the back side.
M - Big body and soft on the palate with gentle carbonation.
O - Some would call this beer old school. In the world of hazies, a nice change of pace and I find this beer refreshing.
