This is a really cool destination located in a quiet city neighborhood of Columbus proper. The building is quite cool with two floors (and two bars) with totally different vibes. The 2nd floor is is unique with more of a Beer Garden type of vibe and has glass walls that overlook the brew house. When I arrived (around 4:30), it wasn't super busy, but within an hour (on a Thursday night), the place was packed on the 2nd floor. Besides the great beer, what really impressed me is how kid friendly they are. There is no kitchen but they do have a food truck out front. I'd definitely go back again.

Cool place right in middle of it all. Super selection of beers. Food truck. Very cool outdoor space with lots of seating. Indoor equally as cool and spacious.

Comfy and casual, little and rather plain taproom. One unusual policy for a brewpub, no dogs. A lady brought in a young retriever, with a logo coat, indicating an assist dog in training, and she was asked to head out front to drink her beer, because of the no dog policy. The tap keeper pointed to a bench, next to the big front windows, and there was a grey, black and white tabby cat relaxing, though it was watching the retriever. I went over and pet the cat and the assist dog trainer came back in without the dog and said hello to the cat as well. So this long story shows that this place has an official brewpub kitty. Three of the beers tasted were mediocre, but the Cali Gold west coast pilsner is good.

Went here for my 21st birthday with the family. It was pretty crowded and there wasn't much parking, but it was a Saturday in Columbus so that's not uncommon. The atmosphere here was great and they had plenty of space to accommodate our 8+ person party. Food trucks were available outside, and they were rotating every few hours.
In terms of beer, it was great! I already knew I loved their Assistant Manager Ale, so I figured I'd like the rest as well. There were plenty to choose from and the dude working the taps was quick and friendly. Overall, pretty great!

Neighborhood brewery with taproom. They brew a good variety of beers, especially for their size. On an August 2018 visit they had 12 beers on tap, with some of these and some additional brews available in cans or bottles. No food but on-site food trucks are common.

Pretty spacious place with an upstairs roof top bar that can be fully closed if it is too hot or cold. For a brewery mostly known for their IPAs they had a surprisingly diverse tap list from a German smoked beer to a Belgian Quad. The beer was really good across the board and they had a kveik IPA on tap that I loved. The service was superb and the bartender was very knowledgeable. Easily would go back to this place.

Great beer beer venue with plenty of seating inside and out. Rotating food trucks nightly and patio fire pit for those cool Ohio evenings. Excellent IPAs. My favorite is Proliferous. A very smooth DIPA. Soooo good. Great place to hang out and chill. Also enjoy their weekly Firkins. Nice selection of Seventh Son t-shirts, glassware too.

Made a quick stop at Seventh Son. Very small parking lot which was full at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Found a spot on the street. I had an IPA, and the wife a stout, both were well above average. No food that I saw. Nice outdoor area which we took advantage of on a 60 degree February day. Will set aside more time for this place on our next Columbus trip.

This is a trendy pretty chill spot for or all ages with a moderate sized bar, patio space, large windows and a sizeable private room for parties and events.
They have a good amount of beer on tap but most of it consists of IPAs and Farmhouse brews. The range isn't a drastic swing from one end to the other but there are a few unique brews and all are of a consistent, good quality, and quite beautiful in appearance if I may add.
They also do tons of cocktails with a huge liquor selection. While the cocktail list looks small, it definitely isn't if you know what you want and are leaning away from beer. They also seem to offer to plop a touch of one of their alcoholic slushies on top of one of their IPAs for a cold, fruity, unique concoction.
No food, but it seems they pretty consistently have a food truck. This time was Challah, a Jewish deli truck. Staff is enthusiastic yet unobtrusive.

We stopped here to try their beers and to have a snack lunch from the food truck that was there. The place is 6-7 blocks north of Hoof Hearted's Columbus pub location, so anyone visiting one can easily enjoy a visit to the other. Our visit was on a Sunday right after they had opened, and they were already very busy. Many customers were enjoying the bar while sitting at tables at the front of the pub, or in the beer garden at the rear. We chose to sit at the last two seats at the bar. The brewing equipment is visible through windows at one end of the bar area, and the rolled-up garage doors just caused great vibe for us here.
There were 12 beers on tap and all of them sounded great from their descriptions, but we had a long drive ahead of us so we chose a sampler flight with 4 beers, but ended up adding 3 more as time went on. All of the beers were brewed very well above their respective style so that our scoring mechanism came up with an overall grade of B minus. The Goo Goo Muck Tart IPA and the Willowolf Double IPA stood out.
We had a sandwich from the food truck, but since it was food not produced by the pub, this review does not include any rating for it. This is a great place to visit and enjoy great beers, and we'd stop again when in the neighborhood.

Columbus has a nice little brewery district. Unfortunately I only had time to check out one of them, but Seventh Son came highly recommended by a handful of locals.
It's a long and fairly shallow structure, like an old mechanic shop. The interior is minimal and glassy, with long wooden tables and stools. The feel is faux rustic, what the kids meaninglessly call "DYI," which has plenty of aesthetic charm but limited usability. The crowd definitely fit into the hipster aesthetic, too, which is weird because after spending time in lager cities I thought that trend was dying out. Anyhow, yeah, the bartenders all have beards and can be a little snippy, but it was nowhere near as snooty or pretentious as, say, Three Floyds, or most of the other breweries that try to project a Metal vibe.
Put it this way: there's a banquet room off to the side and a late-twenties Pinterest-looking woman was having her bridal shower there. I got nothing against such a vibe--it worked quite well, actually, as I was traveling with my in laws--but if you're an excessive normie or pine for some kind of phantasmal "authenticity" in your breweries, you might not like it.
The beer was very good, borderline excellent. Wide variety of styles and strengths and quite reasonably priced. They also have a bar fully stocked with liquors that were either artisanal or simply just obscure. There's lots of outdoor seating, too.

A cool spot, that’s almost always packed. They aren’t afraid to brew some interesting and outrageous styles. A top 10 brewery in Columbus, close to a can’t miss. The crowds are the only real drawback.
