from a can to a beer tulip
look; cloudy, bubbly golden yellow with orange hue, 3/4" white head that doesn't stay, leaves a covering and some lacing
smell; banana, funk, coriander, a little pepper, a little circus peanut, a little biscuit
taste; all those flavors come together nicely, banana and barnyard toned down, biscuit up a little, spices compliment everything
feel; smooth for as carbonated as it looks, spicy, medium light body
overall; nice, full flavored summer belgian white, nose was a little too funky, not quite perfectly right

12 oz canning date that i could find...

Pours hazy way lighter amber, long lasting near white gauzy head...leaving loads of thicker froth and lacing..

Sniff reveals notes of coriander, lime and some yeasty goodness

Tasty enough wit, more coriander, more yeastyness. smei sweet/semi tart...decent complexity for a wit...easy drinking and well worth a try....better then decent wit beer in a can..what else can ya ask for?

Appearance: moderate carbonation, minimal head, hazy, orange-yellow in color

Smell: orange, banana, and light Belgian spices

Taste: orange, banana, and Belgian spices--cardamom, clove, coriander

Mouthfeel: sweet, medium body, medium-low carbonation

Overall: Very tasty. May be the best local witbier that I have had. Drinks a lot like a hefeweizen. I found myself going back for several pints of this. A great surprise.

12 oz can poured into a tulip glass

A -- Pale amber/straw color. White head with okay lacing. Retains the head a little bit.

N -- Yeasty and wheaty. Hints of spice and citrus.

T -- Wheaty and yeasty. Little bit of orange peel and coriander. Nice spice notes. Nice aftertaste.

M -- Little spicy/bubbly on the front end. Not bad. Pleasant tingly throughout.

O -- Probably my favorite of the NBC year round line up (although the one-off Irish Stout was truly outstanding). Really enjoying this from the end of summer to the beginning of fall. Hits all the right notes for me.

Poured into a clear mug, the appearance was a semi-dark glossy yellow to amber color with a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Some slight lace ran with the sips.
The aroma had some sweet citrus pulp and crushed coriander up front flowing into some semi-sweet wheat malts and a delicate little bit of biscuit-like sweetness.
The flavor was moderately sweet flowing on into the spices quaintly. Biscuit to coriander and citrus pulpy aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it Carbonation felt somewhat low, but I accepted it. ABV felt on par. Mostly sweet and light malty sort of finish.
Overall, not bad as an Americanized witbier, I'd have again preferably in the Summer.

Poured into a US Tumbler. Cloudy straw color with lingering head and lace that sticks to the side of the glass.

Floral aromas with a hint of hops that hit the back of the palate alongside the ample carbonation on the way down.

Flavors reminds me a lot of Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier, but less sweet. Lemon citrusy notes dominate.

Love the can. I pour everything into a glass anyway and I am starting to believe that the can is just a miniature keg that is easier to recycle than glass.

12oz can poured into a pint glass

A- pours a hazy pale yellow color with a two-finger fizzy white head that reduces to a thin film on top, leaving just a ring around the glass

S- toasted wheat, lemon peel & coriander, yeasty & musty with a hint of dried hay

T- crisp and wheaty up front with light lemon peel mixing with spicy coriander, earthy must leads to a dry yeasty finish

M- medium-light body with moderate fizzy carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish

O- nice, flavorful & easy drinking wit

From the can. No dating. Sampled on February 15, 2015.

It pours pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Active carbonation.

The aroma smells like a White should with the toasty biscuit malts, yeast, and maybe a little citrus...or more specifically...lemon zing.

Light, refreshing body.

The taste has a nice toasted malt character that one would expect with the style. Citrus notes. Mild bitter finish. Spicy.

bottom line - on draft, this is a very nice version of this style. Drinks like a slightly more fruity hefe weissen. Little clove, little orange. Maybe all the reviews below are from cans? Maybe I just got a killer batch.
