A-Pours a mildly murky, toasted orange color. Large, thick head. Head is doughy and dense. It refuses to die down as well. Random lacing.

S-Balanced nose. Floral and candied citrus hops. Softer grains along with a sweet, toasty maltiness. The nose is actually for a relatively lower ABV brew.

T-The flavor is plenty hoppy and plenty bitter. Bright grassy hops mix with florals and citrus. The sweetened bready malts are full and long on the tongue. Finishes grassy and toasty. Loads of flavor here. Impressed.

M-Dry, high bitterness for an APA. Very drinkable with awesome, tight bubbles. Sessionable.

O/D-Impressive first offering from these guys. A hop-forward APA in a can is definitely something I can see myself buying again.

a very pretty hazy golden, orange in the middle, straw towards the outside of the glass. 3/4" head that leaves quickly but leaves lacing.
smell of lightly toasted bread, medium light malt, yeast, tangy hoppy note.
taste, pale malt, perfect compliment of hops
medium light body, medium carbonation
how does mediocrity earn a 4.25? sometimes you just want a perfect, simple pale ale and this is right on the nose

12 oz can from the brewery in a mixed sixer (only available on site) . Poured into a SAPP glass.

A - very pretty. Hazy golden orange. Nice and bright. Tan - white head about two fingers. Good lacing.

N - sweet and hoppy. Lemon notes. Kind of flowery.

T - follows the nose. Quite hoppy with grapefruit and sweet pine. Toasted biscuit background. A bit too hoppy to call really well balanced, but it isn't too unbalanced. Pleasant with some bite.

M - smooth. No surprises. Bit of an aftertaste but nothing bad.

O - very satisfying pale ale from my hometown. Cheers!

From the can. Spring 2015 I presume. No date. Sampled on August 15, 2015.

The pour is a cloudy looking light to medium amber with a big off-white colored head.

A little light toast in the aroma along with a mild citrus character.

Light to medium mouthfeel.

The taste begins with a similar toasted braded flavor and the citrus notes flutter around in there too. The bitterness is mild to moderate.
