Taste is cinnamon and orange with undertones of sweet cherry and lemon. Fairly good for the style although I prefer some of their other seasonal offerings more.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Light brown with a thin off white head, no lacing on the glass.

Smell: Light hops and wheat with stronger fruits like citrus with some spices.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of mild hops and wheat with well balanced fruits and sweetness.

Overall: Excellent beer! One of the best beers I have had in a long time. Well done Traveler!

Appears a murky caramel amber light beige head forms and leaves speckled lace.

Aroma has citrus peel, bright oranges and lemon, tart tropical fruit and mild spices.

Flavor has bright citrus sugar coated notes hints of bourbon and tart fruit juice...that's it.

Mouthfeel is medium to light bodied with a punch of carbonation and lingering spice and citrus notes.

Overall, I can see this jolly Christmas note coming through! But nothing screams Christmas!

12 oz bottle into a lager glass.
Clear light brown-copper body with a good bone-colored head.
Aroma of winter spices (e.g., cinnamon) but the flavor says apple pie spicing. Lightly sweet. More suitable as a dessert beer than for most other occasions.

Near medium body with medium+ carbonation.

Nice colored amber copper beer with a decent lacing makes this beer look very presentable.
Cinnamon cherry taste that seems alright, but I don't think I could drink to many of these for the same reason. Maybe paired with the right dessert or used to cook the right food a beer like this could find a home.

DATE: December 30, 2016... OCCASION: having returned from visiting Mom and Dad, looking for something light(er) but seasonal... GLASSWARE: Hoegaarden tumbler.. pours a sizzling head that fades into a dispersed ring... the body is ciderlike, light brown, blurry-eyed and slightly active--overall, not too enticing to the eye... cinnamon, apple, pear, mulled wine, orange, and light pepper and currants... possibilities here... sips are swift, with a flat finish and a subtle buzz around the teeth... the apple, currants and orange peel come through first, with cinnamon and allspice are second... not much else makes the party, but I can live with this if handed at me a holiday party, as much of a shandy fan as I am not...

Appearance: Clear amber with nice off-white head of carbonation. Patchy, spotty lacing on the glass.

Aroma: Spices, sour fruit, pomegranate, orange. Not bad, and actually quite inviting.

Taste: Very Winter-spiced indeed! The spices (cinnamon, and maybe nutmeg) play well alongside the fruitiness. A tasty and enjoyable (and light at 4.4% ABV) alternative to the heavier, darker beers of the cold months.

The Jolly Traveler is ok. The beer poured a cloudy brownish amber with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent and taste carried ginger and maybe a touch of nutmeg. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's like drinking ginger beer.

Poured from the tap into a 20 OZ mug at the Taco Mac in Atlanta. This beer has the color of apple pie and the aroma tp boot. Judged as a shandy, this is a homerun. excellent flavor, made for a warm fire.
