Curious Traveler is our take on a classic European Shandy that has been brewed for generations. We started with an American craft wheat ale, which delivers a crisp, light body. We then added fresh lemon and just a touch of lime to bring out a bright, juicy citrus aroma and flavor. Simply, the Curious Traveler is “Quite a Refresher!”

L: This a very clowdy brew. That is good to style, and really shows the beers use of wheat
4/5
S: This beer smells like a blend of lemon peel and lemon-aid. A bit of wheaty "tang" and some orange as well. Very refreshing.
4/5
Taste: Probably one of the better Shandies Ive had, and easily the best american one, this is a great refreshing beer. Perfect for any hot day, a barbecue, or for giving to people who are not fans of beer.
4/5
Feel: high carbonation give this beer a noticeable bite. Body is at a lower medum level of sweetness/maltiness.
3.75/5
Overall: I highly recommend this beer, especially if you want something light and easy drinking. I just got off work, and this beer really hits the spot (while having more alcohol than rattler so it can actually give you a bit of a buzz which is nice).
Its also very competitively priced. If they made 12 packs of this stuff, It would be PERFECT.
I would drink this again :)

A thanks ro the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of lemons, little else. Taste is lemons, light grains, a touch of tartness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, while it's a refreshing beer, one is enough for me.

The wheat and lemon are clearly there in aroma and taste. It doesn't taste artificial or overly sweet, over all a decent version of the style. You just have to be in the mood because it really does taste like beer and lemonade mixed togethor. If in the mood it was pretty good

Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.
Foaming balloon like forming head. Bleach white and making a styrofoam appearance, a good solid three finger top, with fine bubbles. Body color is an almost turbid NE IPA variety but not quite. Thick pale orange, opaque and solid, with lots of dull lemon hues.
Pretty simple aroma, has toned down lemon sweetness. A little spritzy and a touch of almost cake like batter smells on the nose. Kind of gets into lemon meringue quality quite a bit. Very odd but I am intrigued.
A good tasting palate for what it is. Full cake and thick like malt density if sort of more sweet sugar quality. Lemon fresh mid palate without overly sweet or soapy tasting. A sort of spritzy but also full malt thick palate in the middle. Finishes with a little of beer like carbonation that makes a good cut through the sweetness just enough to make it beer like. Hints with real nice cakey vanilla and cream like flavors on the aftertaste.
This is a real drinkable shandy/radler, really can see myself drinking a lot of this on a hot day.

Curious Traveler Lemon Shandy brewed by The Traveler Beer Co. This brew has an ABV of 4.40%. The Shandy pours out a nice cloudy amber color with a nice white head. You pick up on a nice citrus sweetness in the smell of this brew. There is definitely lemon in this brew. Also a nice amount out grins, malts and hops. This Shandy has the look and smell of most Shandies on the market today, not saying that is a bad thing. Now for the taste , it is bold with lemon citrus sweetness. There are some nice mild notes of grins and malts in the taste of this brew. Curious Traveler Lemon Shandy is a nice clean smooth drinking brew. This Shandy would go great on a hot summer day. I like how smooth and r this brew is . There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it just goes down nice and smooth. The mouthfeel of Curious Traveler Lemon Shandy is citrus, bold , smooth, clean, and refreshing. Overall I'm giving Curious Traveler Lemon Shandy a 4.25 out of 5. I would buy this brew again. The Traveler Beer Co., did a real nice job with this brew. If you are looking for a nice light clean refreshing brew on a hot summer day look this one up.

Sampling a slightly chilled bottle poured into a pint glass. The brew pours a very cloudy golden color with an eggshell white head of 1 cm that fades to nothing fairly quickly after the pour. Aroma is a bit of grain and wheat twang with significant lemon notes as expected. A little bit of a tart scent is present, not quite a berliner weisse.
The first sip reveals a light crisp body with fine tingly carbonation that is prickly as I swallow each mouth full. The flavor is as anticipated with lemon and wheat twang and some tartness. This is an easy drinking beverage with a simple straightforward summery profile. I am glad to have tried it but dont think I would chase it down or purchase again as there are less fruity beers that I would prefer on a hot day.
