Decent selection, somewhat sparse. Holds bottle of special releases for regulars, but will sell if they are asked for, so you need to know what they have available.(Twitter and Facebook) Decent selection of drafts, small bar area.

Since I live so far away it's tough to get there on a regular basis, but I hit them coming back from trips to see if anything is new.

Quality beer boutigue sort of place, large but not huge selection....go to seek out cans from local breweries and to fill growlers...bring your own glass, because they dont stock their own (kinda strange, but apparently its a storage room issue..IE empties take up too much space)....beers in coolers to the right and shelving units to the left..this place shares its space with a gourmet coffee spot thats located in the front....freindly and knowledgable guy behind the bar...worthy spot

Awesome place, great selection, friendly staff. Very active on social media. Pretty good tap list. The store is laid out well with different styles separated, and a section devoted entirely to NC beers. A must visit if you're in Charlotte.

Chris was very helpful finding good North Carolona beers for this Upstate New Yorker. I was also very impressed with the fact that every beer is available for single-bottle sale. Selection was excellent and there was a nice tasting bar too. I will definitely make this my go to bottle store when visiting Charlotte.

Located in the Historic South End of Charlotte at South & Remount, Good Bottle is one of the true gems of the city. They have a good selection of craft beers with a solid focus on North Carolina. You are very likely to find a bottle or two from any Asheville brewery as you are from any Raleigh or Greensboro (and points in between) brewery.

On top of that, they have 12 taps that change out on a regular basis. The real good part is that you can taste quite a few different styles and then pick a favorite.

Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great (especially when Chris has Pokey LaForge playing.)

I lived in Charlotte for 17 years, and participated in the evolution of the beer scene. About a year ago, I moved out of state, and Good Bottle Co(GBC). is one place I truly miss. Co-owner Chris is fantastic, and dedicates a lot of time to make sure he offers a great variety of quality beer in bottles, cans, and on-tap. GBC also does a great job with social media to engage customers with many creative events. Buy any beer, and drink it on-site, or fill a growler, and purchase some cool GBC swag. The atmosphere is very clean, and also casual. You will find a few quite a few"regulars", but it is hard to feel like a newbie. Good Bottle Co.is a winner!

Stopped by here on a recent trip to Charlotte. The place is easy to get to and not difficult to find. They have an excellent selection of NC beers. If you drink craft beer, you'll find what you're looking for here. They had about 10 beers on draft, and it was cool that it was more set up as a bar. It looked like a decent selection as well. Most beer stores I've been too don't have that set up. For 12PM on a Saturday, there was a decent crowd of consumers browsing and enjoying a brew. The one guy that worked there was friendly and approachable. I will certainly return on my next stop in Charlotte.

One of the best bottle shops I've visited, I make sure I always stop in when I'm in Charlotte. Chris does an awesome job not only ensuring he has a great selection of bottles/cans but the draft list is outstanding as well. A lot of NC beers...NoDa..Wicked Weed to name a couple. I was in during the March Madness games and just a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Can't wait to stop back in a have a few more.

Located in Dilworth/Southend. Small cozy store with a fair amount of local NC brews. 95% of it is room temperature, but they do have a small fridge with some growlers, bombers and even some coffee concentrate.

They have the typical craft breweries like Ballast Point, Stone, etc. They also have a really good selection of NC beers that a lot of places don't carry, such as Pisgah.

I think they have 10 taps? They usually have one offering from Wicked Weed which is great. Love those sours!

The barkeep is very personable and nice. Will let you taste some stuff. Gives you the lowdown on new releases, etc.

Best way to keep up with them is via Twitter. They will usually put pics of their new niceties as they arrive, etc.

They also have started cool weekly events, like BYOV (bring your own vinyl), where they will spin your tunes every Tuesday. Pretty cool idea.

As far as prices, most of their bombers are a bit more $ than the big stores, but they gotta pay the lease. It doesn't discourage me from going by.

Just wish I had more time to stop by for a pint or 6.

This a good little shop - directly across South Blvd from Mac's Speed Shop, where you can find some adequate BBQ and a typically strong tap selection.

Good Bottle is interesting organized with the dry shelves being organized in nooks lending its way to a fun exploration. They always seems to have a strong selection of NC stuff and a great assortment of everything else that passes through the area.

They sell some assorted growlers in the cooler along with their own line of coffee beans and some iced coffee concentrates.

They also have 8-10 taps, typically of high quality - on my recent visit there were a few wicked weed taps going among a number of other attractive items.

The owner seems to be a pretty cool and personable guy - you should feel good about supporting this place

I'm used to visiting bars that sell bottles to-go. This is the opposite; a bottle shop that has a bar in it... and bottle shops typically don't provide great atmosphere. I will say, however, that this bottle shop provides more atmosphere than most. Its clean and industrial appearance, well-organized collection of bottles, and bright metal bar make for more atmosphere than one might expect from just a bottle shop. Don't get me wrong- this isn't the place you go to spend an evening; but it certainly is nice for a quick nip or two!

The quality of product and cleanliness of draught lines were great. Service was just above average. And they certainly have a decent selection of souvenirs for purchase. Definitely will go back again!

Went there a few months ago while visiting my brother and like another reviewer, I got there right after they had closed (5pm on a Saturday)...but was let in to browse. They had a decent selection and even a few special releases I haven't seen at my local stores, so that was a plus! The guy closing the store was extremely knowledgable and eager to answer questions even though we were keeping him from getting out of there. The prices were a little pricey, but comparative to other craft beer retailers. Well worth a look-see!

I checked this place out about a month ago. It was a Saturday, and I showed up little after 5pm. The door was locked, but I saw people inside. The owner came and opened the door and let us know they close at 5pm. This seemed like a questionable business move.

I browsed around for about 5 minutes. The stock was nicely organized, but I didn't really see anything that caught my eye. I am usually on the lookout for seasonals, and I was pretty unimpressed. They had a pretty solid taplist, but the taps were closed by the time I got there.

As a middle of the road bottle shop, i think they need to reevaluate their business model and extend their operating hours. Not everyone wants to drink in the afternoon.

EDIT: Since my initial review, Good Bottle has extended their hours significantly. Also, their draft list is always solid. I believe this shop has evolved into the best in Charlotte. After talking with an employee, I now realize that they started out closing early to prevent a bar like atmosphere from forming. Makes sense. Highly recommended.

Cool vibe in the store. Nice bar in the back - the tap selection when I was there didn't blow my mind but they rotate it out regularly so that's not a big deal. Staff person I dealt with was very cool/knowledgable. Pretty nice selection of beer but I wonder a bit about almost all of it being unrefrigerated. Especially for things like IPA's this doesn't seem like the best option. It gets hot in Charlotte. Prices seemed a little high, but not outlandish. Finally, they had some beers that were really quite old and likely well past their prime (this is a personal pet peeve of mine). I'll probably check it out again but, for a first visit, I wasn't blown away.

Nice open space, simple shelving, a few coolers.  12 taps, some good/local/hard to find stuff.  8 & 16 oz pours.  Local growlers.  Local bottles arranged by style. Domestic craft arranged by style. Foreign shelves separate, also by style.  Had just come from Vintner and saw a couple bottles $1-2 less than I paid there, will be keeping that in mind in the future.  Still more expensive than Brawleys and Chain store, but mostly marginally so. Some stuff not necessarily well marked price wise, the new/limited stuff, but you don't really care for those brews. Cool trendy vibe.  Staff/owner was well educated in his product.  Will definetely add this to the store rotation.

Perfect business model for beer lovers. The staff is extremely educated and there is a great bar in the back where they have around 15 beers on draft every week. The beers are rotated every week to provide variety.

Personally I love IPAs and they provide an excellent selection. They are up to date on most new releases and are happy to let you know what shipments they have coming in for the following weeks.

I prefer this store over other CLT stores because of the staff, the eclectic taps, and the positive atmosphere.
