The colour is pale amber – gold; the liquid is clear. The firm two finger head is compact and off-white. It sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing on the glass.

The smell is sweet and malty with notes of honey. It is also hoppy with floral/herbal notes, mango and pineapples and ripe bananas. It is a bit dense and dusty.

The taste is a bit woody with sweet floral flavours. Honey and ripe exotic fruits. It is very sweet and malty, almost like a barley wine. Medium to full body. The aftertaste got some alcohol, fruit candy and some exotic fruits, the bitterness is mild. The finish is sweet, smooth, and elegant.

The carbonation is mild, the small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is thick and sticky.

No, I don’t get this one: It is supposed to be a west coast APA with lots of fruity Galaxy hops, but to me this is more of an English strong ale.
