The colour is dark brown, almost black (90 EBC). The liquid is clear. The low beige head disappears quickly leaving no lacing.

The smell is sweet and roasted, almost burned. Robust, clean bitterness. Nuts and exotic fruits. Chocolate and sweet coffee.

The taste is sweet with passing bitter-sour flavours. They fades rather quickly leaving room for roasted malts and oranges/orange peels and some black malt sourness. Medium body. The aftertaste is semi-sweet with some roasted malt and smooth with some citric notes and oranges peels. The short finish got notes of chocolate and plums.

The carbonation is medium strong, the small fresh bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.

I had expected some more orange flavours in this one. I don’t think this imperial porter will age very well.

Dark brown, mahogny colored beer with a small, beige head. No lacing stays on the glass.

Nose: Orange, brown sugar, burned malt, dried fruit, syrup and pumpernickel.
Taste: Sweet caramel malt, brown sugar, honey, dark bread, plum, hazelnut, licorice, a little bit of chocolate, alcohol and orange.
Body: Medium body with light carbonation. A little boozy. Short taste. A little bitternes.

Ok but I think the alcocol (ABV 9%) is bad hidden. A little to boozy.
