The colour is yellow with a tint of gold (6 EBC), the liquid is almost clear (the beer is unfiltered). The two finger head is white and compact; it sinks slowly to an even lid.
The smell is malty with lots of fresh white loaf. Floral bitterness and clean sweetness. Smooth notes of brewers yeast. Hints of minerals.
The taste is bittersweet. Clean notes of pilsner malt and bitter hops, somewhat rough almost tart brewer's yeast. Lots of crisp minerals. Medium to full body. The aftertaste got lots of bread flavours, hints of sweet dough and floral hops. The finish is sweet.
The carbonation is medium strong, the mid-sized fresh bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth and a little sticky.
A nice helles/kellerbier, but I had hoped for an even lighter/smoother experience.
