The colour is red with a tint of gold (20 EBC). The four finger head is beige-pink and airy; it sinks slowly with a fizzing sound leaving some lacing on the glass.
The smell is dry with elderflowers, elderberries, raspberries and sweet strawberries. Some tart mineral notes in the background.
The taste is fruity. Raspberries, strawberries, elderflowers, passing hints of salt and fruit candy, some clean bitterness. Medium body. The aftertaste got growing sweetness, ripe strawberries and some cherries. Some salt and sour fruit candy in the long finish.
The carbonation is very strong; the many mid-sized bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is mid-smooth.
Lots and lots of fruity flavours in this beer, less salty than expected. Interesting!
