8/15/18...pours bright yellow. Thick head of cream. Citrus grass nose roots. Pleasant. Heavy bitter up front. Citrus pine behind. Creamy mouthfeel. Light body and fast finish. Approachable double.

Very malty and thick for a DIPA, not what I was expecting. The malt backbone is overpowering, but the bitterness is somewhere in there and this is a really good looking tasty mellow beer. Great mouthfeel, great color, nice lacing, and great packaging in an aluminum "bottle" (guess that shouldn't really matter, but it does). My bottle says 8.8% versus the 7.6% listed so maybe In'Finiti is still experimenting with this one, and the extra ABV in mine might account for a little bit more sugars / malt / mouthfeel than a 7.6%.
