750 ml bottle. Reddish-amber colored body, hazy. Retention ring, minor lacing. Aromas of oak, wood, grapes and red wine. Flavors consist of big red wine grapes, funk, tartness and oak. Carbonation is lively and bubbly. Really delicious.

From the bottle.

I like this one a lot. Not blisteringly sour like many dG's I've had lately. Rusty color, wispy white head. Earth and funk in the aroma, red wine. Nice grapey taste, tart but not overblown, some sugary sweetness, nice barnyard funk, wet wood. Very smooth, extremely drinkable for the style. At 5.5% ABV I'm not sure why this is considered "imperial," but whatever, I'm not complaining.
