Sweet and tart, fruity and floral-berry, hint of oak barrel, and slight whiff of funky nose on this one! Taste follows with a sweet, but tart fruity-berry swallow...subtle oak barrel shows up on the backend. Also, a sneaky gose-like saltiness starts to show up as it warms...and it works! This is so well-balanced and so well done! It's different...it's delicate on the palate, but also has juiciness to it. This is great!

Had this at Sour Sunday 2017. Pours a pretty purpleypink. Qualifies as purple drank. Cool lighter pink head. Really dig the appearance, they make some cool beers in this vein (the purple, the kriek, this etc. . . ).
Aroma of sour purple berries alongside that familiar Tillamook ranch farm spontaneous farm note. Berries and coastal farmland, this is Oregon.
Taste is delicious like all the bu series. Light bodied wheat base with plenty of I presume, Oregon boysenberries. Plenty light, sour, juicy, tart, even alternating back to a little sweet berry note. Carbonation was spot on. Good woody tannins on the back end make this somehow bone dry. Really makes me wish they still made these and I had easy access to them. Would crush this all summer.
Boysenberry is my favorite yogurt flavor. It was of no surprise I dug this quite a bit. An underrated berry.

Pours a pretty pinkish/purple, and rubylike color. Gets darker as the head forms a rocky pink foam that settles down not too quickly. Beautiful looking beer.
Nose stood out from the pour. It’s a very ripe fruit, I guess of, boysenberry! Never had it before but it reminds me of a juicy pomegranate. You can pick up that lactobacillus like funk and sourness just from the nose.
Actually very sour upfront and also sweet on the backend, but mostly sour. This def reminds me of juicy ripe pomegranate pulp. Definitely has some lactobacillic character. Very tasty.
Highly highly drinkable. Light bodied with just the right level of light to medium carbonation. Pucker up!
Wow, very lovely beer from de garde. Didn’t know what to expect as I’ve never had anything boysenberry but this is really nice. Not overly sour, and extremely drinkable.

750ml bottle from share.. Rich ruby red body capped by a small pink head. Aroma is full jelly jar berry freshness. Taste brings in wooden barrel notes, more of the fruity berry flavors, and the right amount of tartness. Another classic from De Garde.

Pours like dark purple grape juice. Smell is a nice combination of fruit and earthy notes. Tastes fantastic, super refreshing. Not my normal style for drinking, but thoroughly enjoyed this one.
