Unknown vintage (2014?); drank 9/23/19 @ the Yarchives.

Effervescent peach & mild wheat vibes here; tart, but not sour. A pleasant, mild experience I'd enjoy having again.

Milky corn yellow with an uneven fizzy white froth that dies to nothing.

Really fresh, whole peach on the nose, like holy shit. Uber fuzzy, just picked peach is paired with a touch of spicy funk.

Taste is really funky overripe peach, which, taken with the nose, brings variety. I taste a little tart apple too. Quite sour.

Light carbonation, semi-wet, with a slight acidic burn.

This is definitely no Nectarine Premiere, but Peach Bu is nothing to be scoffed at either. This is such a refreshing, almost nutritious seeming beer.

This one is delicious. So far this is probably my favorite de Garde bu. Very tart, but balanced at the same time. It pours a beautiful hazy yellow and there is a lot of peach on both the nose and backend of the drink. I absolutely loved this beer.

A: Pours the color of grapefruit juice with a tiny bone white head. Murky and...grapefruit juice looking. It's crazy how weird but amazing this beer looks.

S: Jesus. Peaches and cream all the way with a touch of biscuit and vanilla. Sweet without smelling artificial at all. Just this bright and juicy peach bouquet. I could smell this all day.

T: I've been fortunate enough to try a few de Gardes to date. This blows everything I've had from them away, and I have loved absolutely everything I've tried so far. Tons of white peach juice with a smack of pink grapefruit sourness that never becomes too sour. The body isn't heavy by any means, but you would never call it thin either. This is near perfect. I need a lot more of this.

Super duper duper tart! Bright yellow pour into a de garde tulip glass. Heard a lot of hype surrounding the peach bu's but wasn't that impressed. It was a good beer don't get me wrong. . . just a little too tart for my liking!

Look: Cloudy light yellow

Smell: Peach pureed mixed with earthy tea leaves

Taste: Super tart uprfront, mellows into peaches towards the finish. Think Upland's sour profile mixed with Logston's Peche 'n Brett peach flavor.

Feel: Classic de Garde

Overall: A really good beer, though I can't get over de Garde's signature tea flavor, which lowers my overall score to a 4.25.

Fresh peaches right at the nose and lingers throughout. Perfect amount of sour that doesn't over power the fruit like other stone fruit sours. Another fantastic DeGarde offering.

2015 Release

Peach bu pours a light hazy orange with just a tiny bubbly ring around the outside of the glass. As soon as you pour it you can smell the peach. It has a nice refreshing smell. Taste follows perfect. Peach core, skin and freshness. Slight sour kick but nothing to crazy. This beer is a must have in my book. A great fruited beer that is perfect on a hot summer day!

Thanks Joe for this one!
Hazy pastel canary yellow, thin frothy ring around the edges.
Amazing peachy aroma, fresh tart and juicy.
Taste is moderately sour, full on peach presence, juicy tartness. Very fresh fruity taste.
Light and spritzy, very quenching and tasty. Love it.

A — Pours a slightly hazy and cloudy pale yellow color into the glass. There is a puffy, but quickly fading white head on it, no real lacing left behind.

S — Smells incredibly vibrant and juicy, just fantastic. Huge fuzzy peach and apricot tones, bit of nectarine and some sugary sweetness. Little bit of tartness underneath it all.

T — Tastes like a dried apricot, little bit of sugary sweetness, but it's off-dry for the most part. Big fuzzy peach character here again.

M — Light-Medium bodied brew, little bit effervescent and a medium-long finish.

O — Just fantastic overall, like a juicy, fuzzy, tart peach in a glass.

I had this beer on-tap in a goblet at the brewery.

Appearance: cloudy yellow hue with a thin layer of white foam. Very nice.

Smell: extremely fresh and fruity peach flavor. It's kind of amazing.

Taste: quite tart right up front slowly fading into a very fresh peach flavor which is at the same time not overdone. Exceptionally well-crafted.

Mouthfeel: medium light body with a refreshing carbonation. Not bad.

Overall: a fantastic beer - more please.

750ml bottle of the summer 2015 release. Poured into a snifter glass.

Pours a light yellow body; quite like lemonade in body, two finger white head with the standard minimal Bu retention time and no lacing. Light and evanescent head. Smells initially of lemon and citrus, wheat, lactic acid. As it warms up, a huge amount of peach comes out and takes over. It smells delicious and refreshing; like a tart peach juice. Just about expected based on previous Bu's. Flavour is equally peach-forward from the get-go, you taste more of the base lemon citrus Bu at the beginning in the background, and the peaches continue to take over as it warms up. Impressive, not complicated, but very tasty. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, good carbonation, slightly drying and very refreshing. Overall, very tasty peach-forward berliner that I'd love to drink again.

Pour is a lighter amber color, very hazed, with lots of tight white head that lingers for some time. Nose has a bit of dusty brett up front, doughy malts move in with a rubber note, moderate peach flavor, fairly ripe peach. Taste is a bit brighter, peach is a little more assertive, dustiness is slightly subdued, peach flavor is riper and sweeter, light acetic acid in the finish. Carb is very assertive, a bit prickly.

A: hazy orange yellow, well... Peach colored

S: intense ripe peach, a little acidity

T: the first thing I noticed was a pretty intense mouth puckering tartness, followed by really fresh juicy peach, lemon and a hint of oak.

M: not huge carb, which works great here and a really nice juicy mouthfeel

O: peach sours... This one is up there with the other greats. Super delicious.
