Pours beautiful magenta/ neon-raspberry. Smell is dominated by raspberry preserves with a supporting note of slightly cheesy sour/funk. This is a bit of a one trick pony (at least it's a good trick) in regards to flavor, big big raspberry with a medium sour twinge. Definitely another crushable offering from DeGarde.

Pours an amazing dark/rich red raspberry color. Smells pungent and sour, straight up jam for your breakfast toast. Tastes is so jammy I get raspberry and tons of strawberry- great tart feel. It's crisp and fruity based so good, could drink this for ever.

The best looking beer I have ever seen. Deep clear ruby red, with a hint of carbonation amazingly tart Apple, lactic, raspberry syrup. Defiantly sour but light and effervescent enough to make it last!!

First beer that has taken me back to a memory. This beer tastes and smells like straight freshly picked raspberries. Sweet delicious berry and even notes of skin and seeds come through. Reminds me of freezer jam my grandma used to make. Awesome beer

Served from a 25oz bottle into a Hill farmstead stemmed tuip.

Pours a beautiful ruby red with one finger bubbly white head that leaves little to no lacing. Smell is straight up raspberry jam. Thats really it. Taste is sour raspberry, some lemon, some oak, finish is lightly vinegary. Feel is highly carbonated (maybe a little too much for me) quite sour and puckering and refreshing.

Overall this was better than the Cherry Bu. Very sour with intense flavors of fresh raspberries. Very nice.

Pour is a hazed ruby with lighter edges and a light pink head. Nose has a fair bit of fleshy raspberry, a touch green, a bit of dusty brett, lactic creaminess. Taste is better, juicy raspberry and cherries, bright fruits, dusty brett, fairly tart and sour. Body is a touch syrupy, softer carb with a very dry finish.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Bright red body. Nice white head.

Smell - Lots of raspberry. Some De Garde yeastiness. Oak.

Taste - Raspberry, but the yeast and sourness overwhelms quickly. Tastes like De Garde and raspberry. Very intense in the back end.

Mouthfeel - Well carbonated. Medium light body.

Overall - One of the more impressive fruited berliners I've had from De Garde, probably because it's simpler.
