750ml bottle. Poured into a Side Project stemmed glass 9/28/2014.

A- Beautiful hazy peach/apricot flesh-coloured body. It's almost pulpy in appearance, like a mimosa. Three finger white head that quickly reduces to a thin collar, and shortly after that, becomes quite still. No lacing to be found. Stylistically, it's about what I expected but I still find its cloudy qualities to be quite fascinating. [4.25]

S- Served chilled, it starts out with quite a bit of tart yogurt lactate, whiffs of the base wheat, and a light citrus acidity and hints of stone fruit that really takes over as it warms up. Very delightful in how stone fruit-forward it is. Ultimately, at cellar temp and warmer, it becomes a very fruit-forward beer. [4.5]

F- Apricots on top, the Bu base in the middle providing a little bit of grainy wheat and a lot of tart yogurt lactate, finishing with a nice stone fruit tartness. It's like these Haribo peach rings, but quite tart. [4.5]

M- Brilliant. Medium, almost on the verge of full body, very pulpy with a semi-milkshake consistency. Its tart enough that it makes my mouth water, but not so tart that you can only drink a few ounces of it at a time just so you don't get heartburn. Very crisp and refreshing; it's dangerously easy to dome the entire bottle, in fact that's what I'll end up doing. [4.75]

O- The first De Garde beer I've taken quite a liking to so far. The base beer works quite well for the apricots here, giving the stone fruits a nearly blank canvas to shine while adding a nice grainy wheat flavour and a good bit of tartness. Overall a very, very tasty fruit Berliner. [4.5]

Final score: 4.51

Pours a hazy tangerine/yellowish beer with a small bubbly white head that disappears quickly smells obviously of apricots and other tart fruits I also smell plums. Tastes just like apricots with a tartness that lingers and I think gets a bit more sour as time passes. This beer is great so flavorful and accurate to the fruit.

Light orange color with aggressive, bright white head and large bubbles. Smell is band aid, rubber, very tart and puckering sour. The taste does not disappoint. All of the lactic sour notes are there. Bright acidity, apricot, lemon, oak. Vanilla coming out here and there. Mouth feel is light, but aggressively carbed. This beer has a ton of flavor. Drink at cellar temp to get the full apricot flavor. The sour overwhelms the fruit at cooler temps.

Am I supposed to dink this review appearance wise because it looks like pulpy orange juice? Not me, I think it looks dope as hell.

Aroma was pungent apricot, takes a second to kind of open up, get some air in it and let the big carbonation get out of the way.

Taste, wow, this is hella layered. Thick apricot vibe, light wheat grain bill, neutral oak, plenty of depth to the tart and sourness, not just lacto, a bunch going on, even some brett chalkiness at times. I don't know that I've ever had a better berlinner weisse, this is the best ever. Makes not have fou fune available at any time no big deal. Rusev crush.

A fresh pour of OJ to start your day. Oh, this is a berliner weisse? Well crank it up man. Jammy ass apricot aroma.

Holy crap, is this perfection? The ever rare 5 score in taste. Best in class. My God, I love this beer, perfectly tart mouthfeel, nice wheat grittiness at times, oaky minimal funk.

Best de garde beer I've ever had.
