Way too sour. I find this happens with a lot of De Garde Bu's. If you drink one fresh, it is a fruity and delicious berliner. If you drink one six months down the road, sometimes it becomes a sour lacto bomb that overcomes some of the awesome fruit flavor. Not sure why this is but it is regrettable. Drink these fresh.

750ml bottle. Served in a snifter 3/4/2015.

A- Beautiful hazy orange-yellow body with a one finger white head, nice longevity and retention. Eventually disappears after about 5 minutes into what looks like hazy peach goodness.

S- Amazing peach and apricot juiciness, with a nice stone pit aroma to make things more interesting. Wheat, lactobacillus and plenty of tartness abound in this beer. Smells great.

F- As hard as it is to believe, it tastes even better than it smells. Crisp peach and apricot fruity flavours, earthy stone pit, wheat, lactobacillus, minerals, even a mild bit of funk that is a bit stronger than usual as far as Bu's go. Delicious stone fruit juice.

M- Medium bodied, soft but substantial with plenty of lasting juicy stone fruit flavours. Very easy to crush at what, 4.4%?

O- My new favourite beer from De Garde. Everything that Apricot Bu was, but even more delicious.

Far too sour for a Berliner Weiss. Berliners should be tart, not palate-destroyingly sour.

Had this when I was on a de Garde kick.

Look is beautiful...orange, hazy and just amazing. Aroma is funk, sour and stone fruits. Apricot and nectarine galore! Taste is so good...apricot, stone fruit with some lactic sourness. Finishes dry making me want more. Overall, an outstanding brew.
