I would be surprised if there is a better 22 for less than 5 dollars like this.

Split this bottle with a friend (although I'd gladly drink one or two of these myself) on 2/9/15 Poured into a White Wine glass.

Appearance: Pours a nice golden orange that glows in the light. Nice head retention that slowly dissipates. Almost looks wine like.

Aroma: Smell is fantastic. Tons of stone fruits, peach flesh, nectarines and apricots. Really bursting with that nice bright fruit aroma with a subtle hint of funk.

Taste: Again, full of bright fresh fruit. I know there is not fruit is this but I pick up a lot of peaches and apricots. Like biting into a fresh juicy peach. A bit like drinking a white wine, has some vinis qualities that poke through a bit. There is a nice tartness on each sip thats it not overbearing or lacking, its just the right tartness to make your jaws tingle. I've really loving this the more I drink it. I do prefer it served cold rather than as it warmed up.

Mouthfeel: Soft and velvety like a white wine. A bit oily, but overall a nice medium mouthfeel that leaves you wanting more.

Overall: This is an excellent brew, especially for the price point. I can't believe something this good is around $5 a bottle. I could drink this everyday and not get tired of it. The stone fruit aroma and taste is a nice change of pace compared to the more citrusy/funky farmhouse ales I've had from other breweries. An easy drinker especially on a hot day. Great job De Garde! I can see why people are falling in love with their brews. Highly recommended.

A: Orange, murky yellow/gold pour, with a small to medium sized head…good retention

S: Acidic, sour, tart, and fruity goodness work their way through the nostrils. Along with notes of sour grapes/grapefruit, peach, apricots, citrus, vinegar, and brett

T: Taste is that of grapes, (tart) green apples, peach, lemon, nectarines…fruit. All accompanied by a subtle white wine and faint dryness feel: excellent

M: Light to medium mouthfeel and body that has a gentle dryness to it/gentle white wine feel

O: Great (all-encompassing) beer, to which I would recommend to anyone a fan of the genre
