This one pours a light purplish color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like very sour blueberry, with a bit that classic DeGarde yogurty lactic funk.
Like most Bu variants, this is pretty simple, but very tasty. The blueberry is expressed well, and is very sour, with a bit of prickly lemon rind. There's also that nice yogurty DeGarde funk that I love.
This is light bodied, crisp and clean, with a good level of drinkability and a typical level of carbonation.
I had heard the Bu beers weren't aging all that well. That may be true for some, but this is still holding up very nicely.

Light purple/reddish murky from the stirred up dregs. Inch of pinkish head. Smell is straight blueberries and funk (delightfull). Taste is blueberries and tartness with barnyard funk in the back. Feel is smooth full and effervescent leaving blueberries to linger until the next sip!

Appearance: Pours a pinkish color with a one finger mauve head; decent retention and a smattering of lace
Smell: Blueberry, with hints of lemon, wheat and oak; somewhat funky
Taste: Blueberry forward with lactic tartness building; funky, through the middle, with an dry oaky finish
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
Overall: An excellent blueberry sour

Great share with the guys. Beautiful bluish purple hue with nary a head. Aromas of blueberry, funk. Gentle sweetness imparted from the fruit character. Absolutely delicious.

On tap at de Garde today.
The beer pour a somewhat murky reddish purple color with good head retention and lacing. As this is a dG bu beer, the nose comes as no surprise. There is a huge aroma of blueberry, vanilla, light lemon, and a hint of barnyard funk. The flavor profile replicates the nose, and while there's a considerable sour component, there's more than enough fruit in this excellent beer to handle it. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, but with a long, moderately sour, fruit infused finish. Alcohol is completely undetectable.
Pretty good beer, but I wasn't wowed by it. In many ways, it reminded me of the dG violet a tried some months back. That being said, this is yet another solid, well crafted fruited sour from the talented brewer at dG.
