Had this one at March Madness 2015. Quite the gem. Color runs somewhere in the neighborhood of pink and red. Darker than pink, lighter than red, small 1/2" runs to 1/5" white head and stands there. Aroma of tart cherry skin, dry virgin oak, sour power.

Taste, more akin to a berliner than some of the other de gard imperial bus, but still way more sour than any real berliner I've had. Wheat, can't really tell. Too sour to pick up on much nuance. I mean, on one hand, I really liked what the cherry brought to the table. Neat little funk notes of Tilamook were discernable. Less acidic than some of the other imperial bus too. Reminds me of cherry pie.

I like these beers, but damn, the harsh acidity and upped strength blows out a lot of the nuanced stuff I like in a berliner weiss. Again, more like a wild ale.

Orange hazy color with tons of carb/head. If you swirl out the extra gas, nose is all raspberry with a hint of cherry. Taste is a smooth berry with a hint of sour. Feel is creamy and enjoyable. Pretty enjoyable, unless you don't swirl out the gas and it's harsh with very muted tastes.

hazy Amber orange with a fizzy white head. Nose wafts fresh crushed raspberries, some cherries, mild funk. Taste is similar but very tart. Carbonation is bold and spritzy. Body is medium light. Super tart, some light funk.

Pour is faintly hazed, peach hue to the a pale red, lots of bubbly white head. Nose is a bit less fruity and less sweet than the regular. More oak, some nice dusty brett, a hint of eggy brett. Flavor is cherry pie filling, fairly acidic, light brett, a touch simple. High carb, light body.

Enjoyed the regular Cherry Raz more but this is still excellent. Much more tart and acidic then three regular.
The color isn't as bright, same with taste.
Again, still an amazing beer.

enjoyed side by side w cherry raz bu bith in degarde glasses from various releases. regular cherry raz has way more floaties, but both are deep pink with big frothy head. cherry raz bu is cherry raspberry juice the imperial has more of a bite but they are both excellent. super refreshing and easy drinking. regular is a bit more juicy but it is close. they are both amazing!

Way too carbonated. Fills the glass with foam and a finger of beer. After settling the body is an opaque reddish-pink with some sudsy head that actually sticks around which I've never seen on one of their beers.

A huge fruit punch to the nostrils. Fresh jammy raspberry lead with the cherry coming in behind. A little vanilla oakiness and cinnamon.

Sharp sourness pops open the palate before letting in a flood of raspberry, cherry, and some citric lemon.

Thankfully all the initial crazy carbonation dies quick enough and makes for a drinkable and enjoyable beer.

A-A cloudy pinkish red in the glass.

S-Funky, oak, lots of raspberries some cherries very sweet.

T-Starts with a rather sweet raspberry and cherry flavor. Followed with a huge tartness. Mild oak as well.

M-Lighter, crisp semi dry finish.

O-Another stellar beer from de Garde.

Bottle from the release from a couple of weeks back.

A nice reddish pink with a pink off-white head that falls off slowly lacing no lacing, this looks quite nice in my deGarde glass. The nose is dominated by bright and jammy raspberries, deep, fruity, fleshy and with a little bit of seed character. Cherries play a secondary role here, lending top notes of cherry and a little vanilla and a little spice. Quite excellent.

The palate opens with a blast of fruit with the cherries and raspberries getting equal billing. Sweet, almost syrupy cherries brightened quite incredibly by jammy and tart raspberries, this is wonderful. Raspberry liqueur on the mid palate before a long fruity and sour finish, lemony and lactic with a little bit of oak. Not particularly funky but what it lacks in that front, it more than makes up for in terms of pure fruit expression. Even more enjoyable now that I have a whole bottle to myself.
