Hazy orange color with lots of fruit pulp floaties. Aroma is full of apricot, fruit jam and mineral, salty funk. Taste is salty, mineral, really fruity, tart but not really acidic. Medium body and carbonation. Really nice gose with intense fruit notes.

L: Straight orange juice with opaque pumpkin and orange hues and a bright white head
S: Nice bit of funk complemented by peaches and apricots
T: Lactic, tart, and juicy with a pinch of salt underpinned by an infinitely smooth apricot profile
F: Soft and lightly carbed
O: Another well executed and stunning beer by de Garde. Sweet, salty, and light - honestly, it's a shame that I popped this open on a chilly fall day as this would be a perfect beer for a sunny and warm summer day. In any event, this was a superb beer and very enjoyable.

2016 Boise stone fruit tasting on 8/27. 750ml bottle thanks to Darrel. Pours out a very cloudy orange/golden. Very juicy aroma and taste, and the carbonation couples wit the astringency to provide a very tart, puckering experience. Strong apricot flavor throughout.

One of the best de Garde bottles out there.

Nearly just as good as Imperial Apricot Bu. So much juicy apricot. Pretty tart and maybe just a little bit so, but that's expected of de Garde. Could use a some head.

Lots of yummy apricot but not much in the way of gose flavors. Heck I would never have guessed this was a Gose if the label did not say. That being said the Apricot was spot on.

Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a wonderful nicely golden sunset hue with basically no head that faded immediately to leave nothing. Looks acidic.

S - Aromas of great creamy wheat, coriander, lemon, salt. Great gose notes. The fruity fleshy apricot is strong in the background. Smells nice and really fragrant.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, great wheat notes, excellent coriander, nice salt. The apricot pops as it warms. The apricot flesh is super juicy and there is even great dried apricot. The wine is really vinous too!

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, though it is flemmy on the finish.

O - Overall this beer was a really great representation of the style with the added bonus of delicious apricots. Excellent.

Thanks to rudzud

Really no head, murky apricot peach color.

Nose brings big fruit, tons of stone fruit, apricot flesh all over, hint of coriander and salt thing, big fleshy peach, juicy, some creamy wheat.

Taste is pretty tart, nice fleshy apricot and generic stone fruit, big acidity, tart fleshy fruit, tangy like too. Also light creamy wheat, fluffy, with touch of coriander and salt, nice gose, little vinous white wine and touch toasted oak. Finish is a bit more salt, creamy chewy wheat, big fleshy tart apricot, little flemmy. When it warms big toasted oak and wine barrel, more fleshy apricot too.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, lighter carb though, nice acidity, quite flemmy.

Overall quite nice, great coriander notes, great tart fruit, overall great beer.

If you left a plastic bag of apricots in your car by the beach on a mid-August day in Florida and returned hours later to find them liquefied, you could just add some lactic acid to that slurry and have a clone of this beer.

Delicious.

The beer comes in a hazy orange juicy type color.

The aroma is hugely of fuzzy stone fruit, peaches, apricot, tart, hints of De Garde funk.

The flavor follows with hugely juicy apricot, peach, lactic tart, with a salt to finish the beer off. A beer that I would to drink for days.

The apricot flavors in the aroma and taste are really great and the slight saltiness really compliments that well. Slight sourness, enough to balance out all the sweet apricot flavors. Excellent overall, one of the best apricot beers I've had and one of the best De Garde beers I've had as well.

Looks like fresh squeezed apricot juice. Cloudy apricot color.

Smells like fresh squeezed apricot juice. Not complex but absolutely delicious smelling.

Taste is tart strawy apricot goodness with a salty gose finish. As opposed to the nose the taste is very complex. Terrific contrast to the smell.

Smooth and a tiny bit creamy mouthfeel with a dry finish. Different than any sour beer I've ever had. The sheer amount of apricot rounds it out.

Sum of the pats is better than the individuals parts. From smell to taste to finish the beer changes for a terrific unique complex beer. Favorite de grade beer.

Wow. de Garde beers are always a treat, but this may be my favorite that I've tried so far. The color looks like Sunny D, I get just a bit of apricot on the nose and not much else, a really light smell.

The taste just floored me. Kicked me in the mouth with delicious tartness and then followed by amazing apricot flavor with a hit of salt. This finishes dry and crisp, making me want to go back for more. As much as I want to savor this one, the flavor makes me want to drink it by the gulp.

Fantastic!

750 ml bottle. Murky orange body, small white head. No real lacing or retention. Looks like OJ. Aromas of apricot flesh, salt, sourness, citrus. Flavor is huge apricot skin and fruit, slight saltiness, and a nice pucker. Absolutely delicious.

A – Opaque to point of murkiness, heavily clouded, appears thick and viscous. Beautiful, bright orange/tangerine in color. Fizzy, bone white head makes a startlingly quick appearance; blink and you’ll miss it. Zero collar/lacing.
S – Apricot skins and balloons all the way.
T – Sourness dominates the forefront of flavors off the bat, apricot puree in the middle with a subtle salinity and funkiness rounding it out. Heavy sourness gives off hints off citrus/tangerine/blood oranges.
M – Crisp, medium carbonation, almost sharp. Body is surprisingly thin given the appearance. Finishes clean and smooth, not cloying in any category.
O – Very tasty beer, wouldn’t necessarily place it as a Gose per se, but it is a nice fruited AWA, though a bit heavy on sourness (that is the trend these days though). Another solid offering from de Garde.

Wow. Is there a more delicious apricot beer in the US? This is the quintessential apricot beverage.

Pours a great hazy (almost thick looking) orange with just about no head but is bright and vibrant. Nose is like apricot juice meets mother earth. Fruity, bright yet with some earth tones.

Flavor profile is simply all apricot and not hints of apricot - tons of it. There is no doubting what fruit is in this beer. Great stuff - period.

tastes like a summer day im intrigued by how much apricot is packed into each sip.
Mouth feel was solid.

This would have stole the show if it weren't for passion bu. amazing stuff right here, even if its not like the hose series.

Beer pours translucent yellow orange that positively glows with a light source behind it. To describe the smell of this beer is to capture the essence of an apricot as fresh fruit dominates your senses. While some beers can't fulfill the promise of a wonderful nose, this one does not disappoint. Taste follows the nose and it's all apricot with a nice tart bite. It's the kind of beer you want to taste again and again. Didn't really come off like any gose I've had before, but that is more than ok in this case.

Opaque yellow-orange with a white, quickly dissipating head upon pour. Smells like a freshly cracked can of kerns apricot juice. Taste is not far off... This beer comes off something like tart apricot purée. Not exactly multifaceted or complex but what it does do, it does very very well. Feel is smooth and slightly dry. I could see this beer turning some people off with the over the top fruitiness but I really liked it.

On tap at the recent release event. It's really hard to rate appearance for a beer like this. The beer was a cloudy orange color with fairly decent head retention and light lacing. Frankly, 5 minutes into my glass, it looked more like a glass of fresch OJ.

On the nose, this beer was nothing short of amazing. There was a huge presence of fresh apricots, mandarin orange, lime, lemon and light sea salt. The flavor profile replicated the nose pretty closely, though it wasn't quite as amazing as the aroma profile. The beer was lightly sour (so about as much as I could take), but with plenty of fruit to counter the sour flavor as well. The beer was very easy drinking, and delivered an amazing amount of flavor for a beer with this level of abv.

Tried a number of interesting beers at the dG release event, but this was probably the most impressive thing I tried.
