L: Bright yellow, eggshell white head with plenty of carb that fades to a ring.

S: Super funky passion fruit. Signature de Garde funk and passion fruit.

T: Same as the nose. Passion fruit and that de Garde, cheesy, cow fart, rubbery funk. Trust me, it's nice in its own way.

F: Good lord, is this sour. This is probably the most sour beer I've ever had. Their beers are typically very sour, but not like this. As good as it was, the 2 oz I had were plenty. Other than that, light and effervescent.

O: If you enjoy passion fruit like I do, you'll enjoy this beer. With that being said, I would share this one with as many people as you can. It's incredibly acidic.

Do you like... I mean love the taste of passion fruit? Yes? Ok. Do you love having the enamel stripped from your teeth? Cool, this is for you. It's not beer at this point. Just straight acidic passion fruit juice. Looks like it, tastes like it, smells like it. No head, no carb, just juice. One of the more sour beers I've ever had. However it was more approachable as a lot of the Upland sours tend not to be.

Thanks to Jeff for sharing this one!
Quick review from notes.

Opaque orange, thin layer of white foam initially with spotty flecks of lace in the glass. Decent surface coverage, breaks apart after a couple sips. Funky aroma, strong passionfruit presence, super juicy like a Berliner mimosa.

Taste is puckeringly sour, crisp and juicy from beginning to end. Tons of fruit flavor, very fresh and vibrant. Pulpy and juicy. Light bodied with ample carbonation, very intense. Really great stuff.

Bottle from the source.

Poured a completely opaque dirty yellow, lower carb with an aggressive pour yielding only a tiny white ringlet; dots of random lacing. The nose is pure passionfruit, and can be smelled from a mile away. Whew, man, is this sour. Again in the taste, pure passionfruit juice, and practically nothing else, extremely intense and pulpy. I do like sours, but this one is just past my threshold of tolerance...the acidity and sourness is brutal, and there are a million needles piercing the inside of my cheeks. My entire face is crying. Just too sour, and I don't say that often. This is still a really good beer, and has a tremendous fruit profile. It's just really hard to drink, and likely one of the top 3 most sour beers I've ever had. Anyway, time to break out the Tums.

Bright opaque yellow. I could smell this one from across the room, intense passion fruit nectar. Taste is super juicy and sour. Mouthfeel is thick and juicy. Overall its a total sour juice bomb, the passionfruit flavor is really delicious.

On tap at release party. Definitely the standout. Looks like fruit juice with zero head, except some big bubbles. Huge passionfruit nose. Maybe my favorite smelling sour ever. Taste follows but extremely sour. The acidity makes it tough to take huge sips but the fruit and depth of flavor makes it impossible to not want another.
