750ml bottle. Served in a stemmed glass.

Pours a hazy lighter reddish-pink body, one finger white head. Retention about average, good lacing. Smells of rich passionfruit, moderate lactic acidity, wheat. The passion fruit was very strong here, and I'm not sure where the pomegranate was. But the passion fruit on its own was enough to wow me from the get go. Flavour is a bit more of a balance; passion fruit tartness and fruit flavour combined with the lactic acidity to make for quite the tart drinking experience; there was a mild fruity sweetness to it as well which could have been from the pomegranate, but nothing too distinctive. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, crisp and refreshing, nice tart finish.

L: First pours were beautiful bright clear pink, but due to sediment(?) later pours were quite turbid. Fluffy white one finger head that dissipated almost immediately.
S: Incredible! Intense fresh fruit, getting mostly passion fruit.
T: Straight up fresh squeezed juice, like something they'd serve on flight landing in Maui. The dominant flavor is passion fruit, but the pomegranate keeps the sweetness in check, imparting a nice tartness.
F: Light on the tongue as expected for the style
O: Cannot recommend this one enough. Another incredible beer from De Garde, and one of their best IMO. Exceeded my already high expectations.

On tap at De Garde tasting room. Pours with a nice one inch frothy head and I can smell the passionfruit from my spot at the bar. Might be the single best nose I've ever experienced on a sour ale. The palate doesn't let down as the taste follows right through. De garde hit this one out of the park. Best offering to date I've had from them and I've had quite a few of them. Cheers
