Hazy burnt reddish-orange with a tall off-white foam head that slowly settles to a soft blanket.

Frothy and perfectly sour, this delivers excellently balanced levels of fruit, oak, acid and funk. The cranberry comes first as a mildly herbal raspberry seed accents. The medium body at times resembles Sweet Tarts, but is matured by quaint woody funk that develops a little further into the dry finish.

This is quite possibly the most balanced fruited sour by de Garde that I've had the pleasure to taste.

Bottle at Doug’s. Murky amber pour., lasting ring of foamy head. Tart, fruity aroma, cherries. Taste brings more cherries, some mellow funk, tartness, drying out towards the finish.

Shared with the group. Cheers!

Tomato juice hued body with a small, off-white collar. Aromas of raspberry, cherry. Similar to 3F Hommage. Cranberries add tartness. Finishing dry. Medium-high acetic character. Teeming with fruity flavor. Delicious.

All the berries de garde beer.

Very fruit and very sour. Light acidic. Big fruit notes with raspberries up front and cranberries in the finish.

This was a fun one to try!

Darker purple-reddish body, one finger white head. Carb is sufficient. Smell is mostly cranberries, a touch of cherry skin, not so much raspberry which probably contributes more of an acetic tartness to it. Flavour is a bit less fruit; mostly cranberry with a touch of oak, touch of vinous character, very acetic. Mouthfeel is medium-thinner bodied, sufficient carbonation, the acidity is a bit much even compared to other De Garde offerings.

Pure elegance in this beer. It bursts of the melange of tart berries and cherries up front, a lively carbonation as the wine barrel character slowly digs into the beer's tartness and dries out the beer.

Huge thanks rmto rowmark for the share. I am a huge degrade fan and have been floored by their takes on the belgian classic....well this...this takes kreik to a new level. CCK is probably the only kreik that is beyond this. in a blind taste test I would peg this as a cantillon lou pepe kreik. Wow. amazing.

I dont care for sours but this was amazing, period.

Nice light purple-redish color with a little bit of head. Smell was off the charts, the raspberry comes through the most and the red wine was not overpowering at all. Fantatsic fruity taste without burning your mouth like other sours can do. If you like sours you NEED to try this one, definitely the best sour I have ever had from anybody.

My favorite de Garde to date. I had high expectations and I was blown away. The red wine doesn't come across too strong (this was a plus for me), and the balance between fruit and barrel is perfect. I only wish I had more.
