Pale is a pale and tart farmhouse ale aged in oak foeders. This beer lends itself to a very bright citrusy/lemony profile, with moderate funk and gentle oak nuance.

opened this bottle a few nights ago at a small share, most of the bottle was untouched son corked it and just went to finish it and wow...really nice. I didn't care much for it the other night but right now it is a soft lemony saison w a hint towards the sour end of the spectrum but definitely some earthy grit as well. drinks like a 2%er. super tasty.

Look: Very light yellow, hazy body, 1 finger white head that disappears nearly instantly.
Smell: Lemon, rye spice, and straw mainly, some brett presence.
Taste: Same as above, but the brett shows up more.
Feel: High carbonation, medium body, pretty sour.

I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a tulip.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of white foam.
Smell: tart with a nice underlying sweetness and just a little farmhouse. There's a dash of diacetyl, but that's ok. It's really quite good.
Taste: yum yum! Balanced tartness, a little farmhouse and a lot of "more please". Not a traditional saison by any means, but delicious.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: they know their sours here at de Garde. Outstanding.
