Notes: A wild oak fermented and aged saison, refermented in oak with Montmorency Cherries and Raspberries, then blended with 20% two year old oak aged saison for added complexity. Big juicy fruit character underlined by the yeast, with a light acidity and subtle funk.

Bottle shared by Barry, thanks man.

This one pours a ridiculous shade of red, so vibrant like all deGarde beers. So much fruit was obviously used here.

This smells like very sour raspberry, a little bit of cherry, the classic DG yogurty and lemony funk, and a ton of lacto.

There isn't a ton of complexity here, but it's still quite tasty. There's just an absurd amount of fruit, more raspberry than cherry. It's very very sour, with the classic deGarde funk taste intertwined. I don't get really anything from the base beer.

This has a super juicy mouthfeel, with a good level of carbonation, and a definite lingering sourness.

This was very tasty for sure, a bit more complexity from the base beer would be nice though.

Pours a beautiful darker purple-reddish body, one finger darker reddish head, good retention, plenty of lacing. Smells very tart and acidic, with a hefty cherry skin aroma, with the raspberries contributing more tartness and acidity than fruit flavour. Mild oak, light funk, touch of lemon rounds things out. Flavour has a bit more of the oak and raspberry fruit flavour, but the cherries come out more as well. It's fruit-forward, but also very acidic, 7-8 on a scale of 10. So be prepared for that part! Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, again with a big dose of acidity throughout the entirety of the palate and lingering to the end. Very fruit-forward and acidic De Garde wild.

Ruby red color. White head.

Lots of oak. Huge berries. Cherries and rasberries. Big fruit flavor. Some light saison like spice flavor. Very minimal funk and acidity.

Easy to drink. Lighter bodied. But not as sour and juicy as some of the other dG. Very nice none the less.
