Magnum at share. Pale golden pour with active white foamy head. Sharp, tart aroma, lemons, citrusy. Taste is funky, fruity and tart. Just the right amount of tartness.

Pours a brilliant golden with fluffy head and spritzy carb. There's funky cheese on the nose. More on the parm side than something more funky but definitely some barnyard bacteria. It's got that parm and sharp cheddar cheese character up front. There's some red pepper, green apple character as well. Certainly has that spon character. This bottle is a few years old and the acidity levels are still quite pleasant (i.e. not too low on the pH scale). Gotta give it to de Garde on this one, hence the .25 bump on the overall score. This is a hard one to execute.

Thanks to Vurt for this one. Poured into 120z tulip. Poured a gorgeous hazy light gold color with about 3/4 inch of white head that had great retention and good lacing.
The aroma was earthy grains, and pleasant, tangy funk.
Same on the tongue, with a slight bit of fruitiness.
The body was light-medium, and carried great carb across the palate.
Drinkability was great, I could have easily drained the bottle by myself with getting bored. Overall, another great beer from a great brewery. A must try if you get the chance.

750 mL bottle. Hazy orange body with an enormous head. Smells like cheese. Like a tart goat cheese. A little bleu cheese too. Some light citrus and oak. Tastes of lemon, oak, bleu cheese. Moderate sourness. Some orange citrus. Strong mineral flavor in the back end with lingering bleu cheese. Medium light. It's a fascinating beer. Not sure I think it's objectively good, but it's an aggressive and fascinating attempt by De Garde.
