750ml bottle, cork and cap. Snifter glass. Darker purple body, one finger light reddish pink head, short retention, no lacing. Smell is super dry raspberries; a bit of fruit that gives way to big dryness, light oak, moderate acetic tartness. It's very fruity with a nice tartness on the nose. Really nice stuff; flavour begins with a fairly big raspberry flavour, but that gives way almost immediately to a massive, big dry tartness from the raspberries. It has a fairly bright flavour to it, but the dryness is a bit problematic for me. Mouthfeel is medium lighter bodied, very dry on the finish, has a good carbonation to it, but ultimately I found it a bit too dry for my own senses- would have liked the more sweet raspberry flavour to persist for longer.

Received in a trade. Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a dark dark purple almost black hue with a deep fuchsia head that fades to leave a thin halo and light wisps.

S - Aromas of bright juicy red berries, very nice tartness, light oak. Nice vinegar notes, solid almost light sweetness. Almost wine like in how berry forward this is. Super aromatic.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, loads of berries and light sweetness. Nice pleasant tart flavour, good lightly flemmy and quite acidic. Decently jammy.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated though it is very flemmy.

O - Overall this was a rather solid wild ale. The berry notes are really pleasant. Spot on!

Thanks to rudzud
Dark rosy purple black head, fluffy creamy 1+ finger, fades at med pace, touch of lacing, basically black color

Nose explodes with blackberry raspberry, tons of jammy berry, little chocolate background malty, little toasted oak and vinous wine notes, little caramel as fudge notes

Taste brings more nice flavors, big berry again both blackberry and raspberry, pretty jammy, more chocolate malt, little caramel fudge notes, raspberry choc truffle, very acidic little tart, little fluffy nougat, juicy wine barrel notes and little toasted buttery oak but very little, mild flemmy finish

Mouth is med bod, syrupy and flemmy, very acidic over carbonated

Overall had some great characters but flaws too
