A 1 pint 9.4 fl. oz. bottle, bottled in January 2018. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.

Appearance: A cloudy straw yellow colour with a two finger white head that dissipated quickly and left sparse to no lacing.

Aroma: Tart and sweet, ripe peach, apricot, oak and light funk.

Taste: Tart, sour, unripe peach, lemon juice, oak and funk.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate prickly carbonation.

Overall: Aroma was amazing but taste didn’t quite match the aroma. Still quite nice though, and easy to drink.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Red Session. Aroma has bright, unripe peach notes, mineral with a bit of stinky yeast funk. Taste is sour, mineral, a bit salty. Light body, quite effervescent.

Hazy pale gold-yellow with a fizzy white head that dies to nothing.

The aroma is delightful of spicy, fresh peach that's peppery and oaky with a splintery, bright white wood and juicy apricot.

Taste is delicious and spicy fresh peach, and it just keeps rejuvenating itself on the palate from beginning, middle, to end, AND adding complexity somehow. Bright spicy oak and a perfectly balanced tartness just exudes a mind blowing juiciness with a light and balanced funk in the background that grows mildly as it warms.

Sharp and prickly at first, a slowly softening fizz smooths the medium-light body to a round feel with a tingly, stinging semi-dry to dry finish.
