Located in an industrial in Tillamook, I could have almost missed the place if I had not known what I was looking for. Inside, the place is no frills but has a good atmosphere. The 6 De Garde taps are what people are coming here for and they do not disappoint. I was particularly happy with "The Unblended". Quite close to a Belgian lambic. There are also 4 guest taps and a on site De Garde botles menu that was quite nice to pick from. The staff was super friendly and offered to take me and the other patrons on a tour of the premises explaining in details what they were up to.
The "to go" selection was succinct but not a surprise, so no complain from me here.
This place is definitely worth a visit for anyone into Wild Ales. The quality and love put into their beer is obvious and it should be tried once in person if you have the chance.

Really came in with low expectations with having read that only four bottles were available to take home with us, but when I saw how big the list was of what you can enjoy by stopping in I was taken aback a bit. Awesome staff on Thursday after the 4th of July. Great service and awesome list of things you can drink there!

The de Garde beers are world class, no doubt about it. But the taproom leaves a lot to be desired. With that said, they're clearly not hurting for sales and maybe its best they focus on keeping up the quality of the brews instead of curating a pretty bar that is kid friendly.

Have stopped by the tasting room and brewery for several events, but yesterday was the first time I dropped in for a non-event visit.

I have to say I really like the low key vibe of the tasting room. The draft options are printed on a chalk board, and there are some brewery related decorations, but there's definitely a minimalist vibe to the place. As you walk in, there's the small, main bar area to the left where you order your beer, with 3 or 4 table and chairs as well. To the right, are several more rooms where one can hang out and enjoy a beer or three. This place is really out in the sticks, but given the fame of dG beers, even on a lazy late morning in June, there were a fair number of folks visiting the tasting room.

That being said, the two employees working the bar were quick with a drink, were engaging and helpful, and so things went very smoothly in the tasting room. The draft list this day was pretty typical; they had 6 dG beers on tap, as well as 4 guest beers (the new 3 way IPA, Alesmith Hammerhead speedway, a 3 fontein blond, etc.). On this day I ordered a 6 ounce glass of the peche and biere blue, along with a glass of hammerhead. The peche and blue were both outstanding of course, and I appreciated the glass size options (6 ounce and 12 ounce pours, priced at $3 and $6 a glass for the dG stuff). I would add that in addition to the draft options, they also have an impressive list of "on premise only" bottles you can enjoy, along with usually several "to go" bottle options (the Hose and Beire blue on this day - the peche had just run out, unfortunately).

Shrug. This place is great, obviously, and is a place that any fruited wild ale lover should add to their bucket list.

Nice long scenic drive to get there no matter where you're coming from. Friendly staff, nice outdoor spot to drink in the sun. Its a small brewery so I thought the setup was was great for the size. Plenty of parking being in a smaller industrial area.

That photo might be there old spot on main street. Ive only been once and its now in an industrial area by the Air Museum.

Visited: May 6, 2015
Vibe: not a lot of people at the brewery, the set-up of the tasting room is like a snobbish winery
Quality: Very good beers, at least the 2 I tasted
Service: brewer was attenttive
Selection: 6 beers on tap mostly sour with 3 guest
Overall: a brewery for snobbish singles with no kids, not really for beer geeks with kids

This is the best place in the world. I love the people, the hangar, the air, the drive, the beer, the barrels, the beer, the tables, the bar, the glassware, the swag, the beer, the people.

Don't ever go here, it's not for you.

On the smaller side, but clean and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and the beers of course are top notch. Wish they had a taster sampler, but I was happy with trying a few 6 oz beers. Can't wait to go back in the future

Every beer drinker should experience this place at least once. Beautiful scenery, a large space, laid back atmospere with awesome beer, as a california resident, probably the best brewery I've ever been to.
